Legalwolf - as far as I am aware the audit covers a period in time. The legal action was taken post the audit year end in question. Legal action against companies is more common than you think. Nothing would ever get published if a total clean sheet was required. All in my opinion.

Hi Dan - still interested to hear who you have been in contact with and doubtful you have had chance to read my last post but another thought has occurred to me and maybe your contact can comment - has the auction house confirmed ownership of the said items? I thought most of the vehicles were either leased or owned by contractors and therefore not actually owned - could be wrong but interested to hear what the auction house says if you have a contact.

Dan - very interesting - who responded to your email please? Given there was going to be an auction at a set time, seems strange that it didn’t take place. There was no reference to bids being required prior to the auction.

Bebeto - what is your point exactly? You seem to struggle to put together a well constructed argument.

Bebeto - once again you appear anxious to prove my point - that you present something as facts. This time you are telling everyone what I like and what I am threatened by. You are factually incorrect yet again. I have no issue with the word decommissioned if it is backed by fact. If it is conjecture that phrase as such. Its really that simple. Just stop offering an opinion as a fact unless you can back it up with something tangible please for us all to look at.

Thanks Zan - one important difference - I present my thoughts as a view- my own view - Bebeto presents statements akin to facts. To the unwary that is a potential pitfall and one that I will continue to point out.

MH01 - most here will be only too familiar with GGP and many will hold both GBP and GPP.

This is not the site to cross ramp on please and it is not a binary investment choice.

You can have a number of exciting investments in your portfolio. GBP is particularly exciting given the stage of the gold exploration life cycle but also the diversified nature of it's operation, with potentially a near term oil JV.

Diversification - the modern day buzz word - but it has long been a good thing in an investment strategy.

So guys it will not surprise you that I am going to run slightly contra to the underling and not so underlying mood that this notice of auction has created.

1. Look at the date of the notice

2. Do you think that the company will have hidden a material event where assets were disposed of?

3. I don't believe that the auction went ahead - I believe that the debt was settled. It is not uncommon for arms to be legally twisted and then settlement reached before assets are sold. Why do I believe that? Because this would have created a material event possibly impacting future production that the Chairman would insist on being the subject of an RNS.

4. If you are still in doubt call up the auction house and get it from them as to whether the auction happened and come back here and post their answer and name of the official you spoke to.

Bebeto - you have once again jumped to a conclusion - this time about decommissioning - please position your comments as conjecture and not facts unless you have proof please. It is simply irresponsible posting.

Not sure Bebeto - that sort of detail will be in the plan I guess - plant might not need to be decommissioned - I suspect added to or maybe improved but maybe I am not understanding your definition of decommissioning. If plant is obsolete and not a hinderance in material operational efficiency or creating an environmental hazzard risk, I suspect it will be left to one side for the time being. The yard can potentially be swept another time when money is available.

I understand your point but suspect we have a big shopping list that not only picks up the expansion but creditors, licenses, audit fees and a multitude of other pressing bills like licenses. The economics simply might not work by a small production.

It shows how the future will look (subject to any changes in the plan) following the expansion project - it is the funds to meet the cost of the expansion that we need - it's not a question of gold not being in the ground.

Ppsnchol - given you have made a statement rather than offered an opinion, what is your source please?

Bebeto - just who is disregarding the current situation? it's not others that are taking a narrow view of the situation - it appears to be you that keeps taking a narrow and blinkered view of other investor's comments and then extrapolating a narrative of your own. We all know that the current situation is not good - but the POG does come into the equation as to for interested stakeholders - whether holding, looking to increase their holding or indeed liquidate on coming out of suspension.

Is it a question of churn or news? I would have thought news personally.

Hopefully we will get some kind of positive news in September from one of the projects.
