RE: Auctioning off equipment Re Court Case12 Sep 2024 11:02
Thanks for the post Iwontell - its much appreciated. I didn't take offence from your previous post and certainly got me thinking about whether I am allowing myself to be baited or whether I am trying to clarify and distinguished opinion from what could be perceived as statements of facts by the casual reader. I think it's the latter but I am aware that we all have blind spots.
I try not to get drawn into the out right insult game - my observations on behaviour are usually prompted by something that needs to be put into perspective / context or just asking for clarification. As demonstrated below if you continue to ask probing questions, it tends to show posters in their true light.
As you say I think that we are on the same page with GCAT and with Robbie. If I had a criticism of Robbie is that he probably has been too much of a good guy in the past in trusting others to deliver on their promises - either within his workforce, the contractors, accountants or potential funders. Parties in each group appear to have let him down at some point or other and when there is a combination of events it has had significant impacts as we have seen. Ultimately he has been responsible and I think that he would never shy away from the fact that the buck stops with him. I understand that he has put everything on there line personally from a financial standpoint and therefore whilst undoubtedly there is a huge element of personal stake at risk, I genuinely think that he is very mindful about the impact on shareholders and takes that personal responsibility on his shoulders. At the end of the day it is going to be his efforts that get this company back on track - no one is more invested on every level. For those that think I am a rose tinted glasses individual - I am not - I am a natural optimist but at the same time a realist with decades of corporate experience. I have never ran a company but worked closely with those that did and feel I have some understanding of what it takes and the associated pressures. We are long overdue some luck here to accompany the hard work - most unseen and unspoken about by Robbie I'm sure - lets hope those with patience and prepared to continue to wait after we are resubmitted are rewarded. Lets also hope that those that wish to leave are able to do so.
Finally you are spot on in my view - there is gold in those hills and the price is set to get really interesting (higher) if what I am reading turns into fact - north of $3K should be easily attainable in 2025.
