Typo - finds - not funds

Not GBP specific but gold price specific. Want to know why the price of gold has continued to rise - the art below gives a brief history of how we got to where we are today. Also for those of you contemplating gold ETFs - read closely as to why it’s important you get verification that the fund is backed by physical gold. The article is a real eye opener for those not already aware.

Relevance to GBP? Whilst we haven’t got a gold discovery yet it underpins the ever growing global interest in new commercial funds. Fingers crossed!!

SunkenSailor - you also asked value of course and that opens up a whole new topic - price of gold in the future - lots of great interviews and articles on the subject on the net along with global currency resets - the price of gold in the future could well be dramatically north of where it is now.

SunkenSailor - obviously don't want to turn this into a GGP chat but there will be people like me that were attracted here following Callum Baxter's association (he was behind the Haverion discovery). I would suggest you are best to look at GGP's September investor presentation. I'm not sure they have finished defining the deposit yet frankly.

The cross over and good news is that we have Callum leading the exploration at Juno - if there is gold there he is the man who will find it. Looking forward to learning about the enhanced exploration plans.

Just trying to think what the parts of a Farm In deal look like - my starter for one

- Approach / access to data room

- due diligence

- negotiation (involving at least 4 companies given we have 2 partners)

- agreement

- legal - internal and external lawyers engaged to ensure all jurisdictions covered appropriately

- sign and coordinated comms to ensure no unfair advantage to holders of any sttock

I have probably missed several stages and each stage could take several weeks given the complexity/ number of companies and advisers involved / possible time zone differences etc etc.

so I imagine a long protracted process.

Great news is that we are at an advanced stage according to the latest word from the company.

Comment: 2024 has been the year when GBP became something of a punters’ favourite, something which the RNS statement today underlines. We await the big rally in the stock so many are clearly waiting on.

I agree Surfi - we don't know the words to the song yet but the music sounds great!

SharketMare - you are correct in that there are a number of grammatical / typo errors - the RNS will have been signed off by the NOMAD and frankly these should have been picked up - I suspect guidance will be given for the future.

Thankfully my investment decision here is based on the underlying projects and potential and not an advisers lack of attention on some spelling issues. I think its important though for the most ardent supporter to acknowledge that this was avoidable and regrettable but ultimately inconsequential.

Lets see whether the company read this board as I suspect they do and make reference to this oversight.

Let’s focus on the projects please and do not get drawn into the distraction methods being used by some, which frankly remind me of tactics used by a pickpocket - bumping into someone to focus your attention elsewhere whilst their hand is in your pocket.

Most small MCAPs have all their eggs in one basket and are continually concerned about raising money in a very tough market. We are diversified not only in number but in resource which I have never come across before at this MCAP level and we have turned away funding offers.

Nothing guaranteed but in my view on a risk reward basis, this is worth being a part of.

Finally a word in our CEO - he’s a breath of fresh air - I can’t remember a CEO giving a company an interest free loan as he has - talk about skin in the game!

So having filtered the individual, tomorrow I am going to starting filtering people who continue to reference or engage with them - I might be left with one or two posters here who actually have something relevant to say about GBP - because that is why I visit this site - not to witness a £1, 5 minute Monty Python argument.

OR - just attention seeking - same solution though - filter. Just don't reference them in any way. I really think they get off on the attention and that is an image that you don't want to be generating!

It would be interesting to understand the reason for selling at the moment when news could drop at any time. Chasing rainbows else where? Getting scared because of doubt created here? Traders trying to move the herd? Wider economic fears? End of the month bills to pay?

Who knows.....

I think that we will have some form of response or words of comfort by close tomorrow - might not be an RNS and it might cause some here to bleat about this, that or the other because its not official news, but I reckon the new media consultant will want to demonstrate that they will be value adding to the SP somehow - might even be something as simple as watch out for the new website in 2 weeks. Lets see.

Suggest you contact the company first if you were hoping to see RM in person - these meetings are normally short and sweet and doubt it would warrant a trip to the UK unless he was combining with other meetings.
