Many large corporate have been drawing down credit lines and then depositing the funds......they are worried that lines could dry up and they want to ensure they have funds for future eventualities. It does not mean that they are going to make a takeover bid necessarily.

No offer will get my vote until we know what Scallywag holds as a minimum plus the offer would have to be north of 50p frankly for my liking. Any offer would have to lay out the basis for valuation - that could be interesting! I could be wrong but check out the City Code for Takeovers and Mergers - this is not a straight forward as some might think here.
Any hint of a leak should trigger an investigation by the FCA by the way so I think the term 'speculation' is very apt at this stage.

Very positive news from SK re covid today. The tracking measures carried out and quick testing could be a future template for now countries deal with the next pandemic. Good news for BMV of course in the meantime. I have been topping up and happily increasing my average.
