One thing is pretty much guaranteed here in my view - as we approach news the MM's will try every trick in the book to make you second guess your investment strategy. From experience watch out for the big temporary drops to catch any stop losses - it can and does happen.

Swampmonster - they will take 20M shares for 0.6025 straight away. Never ever seen that before!

If anyone is in any doubt just how much the MM's want your shares just do some dummy sale trades - I have never seen instant quotes on the sizes I am putting in before. Not a chance MM's - not a chance.

I attribute their ability to be able to move so quickly ID78, not only to the largely untapped opportunity that East Africa offers and of course the existing licenses with known gold mineralisation, but moreover, the incredible richness of talent and experience within the BoD and the senior management team - covering all the disciplines for exploration and mining and helping to navigate the corridors of power and influence within the highest levels of government and bureaucracy. When some people have criticised for a slight delay in producing numbers to a given date or in a format that doesn't quite suit their personal taste, I would say just take a step back and remind yourself of the big picture here and where we are going. The current Market Capitalisation is frankly not only anomalous - it is currently a joke. I intend to be amongst those having the last laughs here though.

I think you have hit the nail on the head aprogerson when you say the MCap is anomalous. Totally agree. The market simply is not used to the model that GCAT is working to - it creates a wonderful investment opportunity to those that 'get it' now however. The pace of change for a fledgling company is amazing here - all credit to the BoD for driving this forward on so many fronts.

Getting more and more interesting - instant quote to sell £50K worth but anything above £5K to purchase goes to NT.

The spread is actually quite small - 0.6325 / 0.65 and anything above £10K goes to NT. MM's watching this closely now.

Bebeto -I agree with your sentiment but I think we need to start thinking in terms of investment timeframes - to mind mind anything less than a year is short term - mid 1 to 3 years. I think this is going to come good in the short term.

5M purchase just gone through - someone gets it

For those on the TG group, you will have seen that Robbie has reminded us that IF a placing was to be done, it couldn't take place until after their audit was done - the audit will start in July and will take 3 months. THEN - IF they wanted to do a placing they would to submit a prospectus to the FCA for approval - so at least another 2 months following completion of the audit. Who knows what Caracal will look like by December - but we have a good understanding of the company's strategy sand direction of travel. Anyone sitting on the fence worried about potential short term dilution might want to serioulsy reconsider given hard time lines for a placing to proceed - if indeed a placing is needed as opposed to alternative finance methods.

Hi ID78 - I like gold - diversification isn't a bad thing and I have been a patient investor here in BMV for a number of years now. I would encourage you to do your research of course - look at the website / research notes and listen to the latest interview. These guys have a wealth of experience in opening new mines and so much go the hard work has already been done historically - finding the gold in the first place for a start, not to mention the existing tunnel network. Timescales to reopen are very short in relative terms. In my view this is one of those stocks that the market just doesn't get at the moment - a sentiment echoed in the recent interview. Best time to buy in my personal view.
