I really dont think that Hedge Funds will be interested in us, we are far too small for them to make a proper return. People like Hydros mate might front run this, so might some HNW individuals and those MMs who are allowed to. If it is 160m shares to be bought it doesnt really matter whether they are bought today or in two weeks, they still need to be bought. The only difference would be the size of the spike on the day.
The Sprott buying was completely out of the blue, but it was only 20m. The shares rallied significantly on the day but very interestingly (to me) they didnt retrace the next day.
Added to this will also be those instos that passively follow MVIS or GDXJ and of course thats a known unknown.
The two big things that will affect how many shares are to be bought, above or below 160m, will be the size of the fund and the other moves in or out that are also announced, as the latter could change the relative weighting quite a bit. All IMHO!
