My view (which isn't really a view - it's more of a feeling), is one of relief.

I think we are almost entirely dependent one 'news'. Whether that be good or bad - who knows? But something appears to have sparked this recovery. That said, we saw a surge from 0.7 to 1.2 a few weeks ago. As we know, that fizzled out (despite the BB fanfare). I'm feeling relieved due to my 'top-up (@ 0.725) being 'well timed' - rare for me.

Whether this rise is sustained... well, who can say? Anyone who claims to know what lies in wait, is probably basing their research on 'wishful thinking' (a ubiquitous commodity here-abouts). So for now, it best not get too excited. I may, however, have a couple of extra ciders this evening and seek the paracetamol for hangover rest bite, on the morrow.

Going by how the 'real' bid/offer prices have moved towards the close today, I think there will be a fair few 'late-reported' buys.
