ASX listing related question25 Apr 2025 10:12
I'm by no means a long term investor - more like an investor who's been onboard for a fortnight !
The theory/fanfare that the share is going to be higher come June (due to the ASX listing), appears to me counter-intuitive. IF this was a guaranteed fact, the SP would be heading North - not falling back below 13p.
I got badly burned with an investment in DDDD. The reason I mention this is because there was much 'fanfare' ahead of a U.S. listing. Six months or so later, DDDD went bust.
Of course, I'm not suggesting GGP are going bust, but I remain to be convince that the ASX listing is as exciting prospect as some here are suggesting - if it was, as already mentioned, we'd be seeing such optimism reflected in the SP performance.
...and in case you're wondering why I invested in the first place. It seemed to me gold companies were lagging the price of physical gold - this seemed to be the best company for gaining some exposure to the sector.
I don't comment on here much (and will not in the future), but will read with interests any comments those of a more switched-on disposition here, may have.
Thank you.
