Eloquent posts abound this morning - none more so than from Crownos. I also agree with Half's point regarding the warning Pumpky promulgated. The scope to damage our individual wealth, with unfounded positive hype, can be every bit as potent (or even more so) as those who seek to knock the SP with negative rhetoric.

Yes Abbyabyss - I questioned the benefits of 'liquidity', when I mentioned last night, that 'Blue-chip' companies reducing liquidity, benefits existing shareholders - concentrates dividends but more significantly, for companies that don't yet pay dividends, more shares to 'go-round' (and what with supply and demand being what it is), I do wonder how those who claim improved liquidity can benefit CPAI share holders, would justify such a notion - perhaps those who advocate for 'liquidity' via more shares being in issue, would care to explain?

Agreed Stan. I've read that the delay in printing trades, is in order to 'maintain a stable market'. Great - how's that working out? Even if it did achieve this questionable goal, it still puts the likes of us at a considerable disadvantage when deciding whether or not to invest / de-invest. Similarly, L2 is supposed to afford those trading a better insight. However, as witnessed again today, the Peels of this world were on 0.7 when the 'mid' recovered briefly to 0.6. Moments later, the SP was back down to 0.55 / 0.57.

That's what occurred to me - minds immeasurably superior to ours, may be able to comment with authority.

I should have mentioned that the c100 million shares, all changed hands at 15:29 yesterday.

Nearly 100 million shares - according to the available data, traded yesterday, changed hands at 0.60 when the bid/offer was 0.61 / 0.65. No wonder the MMs were able to drop the price to attract buyers of said shares. Where does this leave the 'manipulation' theory?

I couldn't get a quote to sell any shares earlier today - they'll take over three million at 0.5933 now.

It's not a case of 'staying strong' - more like "why would anyone consider selling at this level".

Trump strongly approves tariffs - and won't (can't) accept the fact that it is US consumers who pay the additional cost of imported goods & commodities.

Though he changes his mind with the wind, the US courts declaration that his tariff increases are unlawful (the decisions as to what to do with tariffs, rest with Congress - not the POTUS). Sure, the Whitehouse will appeal the court's ruling all the way to the supreme court if necessary - but where does this leave US businesses and their foreign trading partners - how can you 'plan' amidst such uncertainty. Trump is strong when it comes to dealing with 'the weak' - and weak when it comes to dealing with 'the strong' (people like Putin have him exactly where they want him. It is difficult to conceive of a worse president for the US - many republican voters are finally waking up to the mistaik they made back in November.

Brilliant post to myself - thank you for taking the time to type it. My initial point was an indirect observation on the contradictions evident on these boards. I do enjoy reading both sides of the argument (ramps v deramps) but even some bulls here, differ. Do you agree with those who say the introduction of additional shares (warrants), will provide welcome liquidity? - I'm not so sure. BT, Tesco and Sainsbury are just three of any number of companies, who have (or continue to) operate 'share buy-back' programs. These are seen as beneficial to shareholders of those companies, due to reduction of liquidity. Sure, the scales and nature of those businesses versus CapAI are completely different, but isn't the principle similar? The benefit is money to play with for the company and to pay the bills - I don't see any appeal/benefit from a shareholder's perspective - not in the short term anyway.

...and talking about terms. I plan to hold these into the autumn - though I may reduce before then, if there's an upward spike - a) because I can buy the inevitable subsequent dip; b) because I've probably bought more than I should have (don't think the 'other half' would be too impressed with such a risky strategy); c) my core investment is in boring blue chips - such as the afore mentioned BT (who's expenditure on the fibre network through Openreach, is past it's peak) - I think over time, BT may become something of a 'cash-cow'). I am hoping that having made a few quid here, I'll be able to buy back more BT shares than the amount I sold to get into CPAI.

I was slapping myself on the back with my 0.61p purchase at 08:05 this morning - doesn't look nearly as impressive at the moment.

People say "Buy the dips", but unless you have unlimited funds, 'buying-the-dips' is only possible if you've sold the peaks - which makes you a 'day trader'.

...meanwhile, someone else tells you it's not a share to be traded.

Yes, we're all supposed to be adults and responsible for our own decisions, but what are we to make of so much conflicting logic, on this message board?
