Stop loss kicked in for me too at 40.8, what you thinking investroid?
I have enough alerts setup that any move to the upside I should catch quickly enough, so may sidelines for a bit
Traders not liking the reduction of the theatrical window. Link to the news story a few comments below
Inevitable Hindy, AMC is the largest cinema chain
Now -4% after hours, that's a 24% swing in about 30 minutes
After hours 3.98 -0.17 (-4.10%)
Traders can't decide if the new AMC news is good or bad :);) It's all over the place
Got all the way up to 20% now back down to 3%.
CNBC just picked it up - https://www.cnbc.com/2020/07/28/amc-strikes-historic-deal-with-universal-shortening-number-of-days-films-need-to-run-in-theaters-before-going-digital.html
Interesting news from AMC + Universal:
JUST IN: Universal and AMC Theatres came to a big agreement Tuesday that lifts AMC's ban on Universal films and potentially has big ramifications for the future of movie-going.
Universal films can go to PVOD after just 17 days now. The original exclusive window was closer to 70.
You too M00la, going to be rocky... but will be interesting to see where it lands. For long term holders like yourself, keep doing what you're doing, you'll be fine. Although, I might have to cheat on Cineworld for Tenet though, get that Cardiff Imax :);)
I'm sitting at 43p, I'm happy.... but do have protection on the downside ;):)
Can be if used badly... but also tell that to the people who have holdings with an average of 70 to 95p and need 80 - 100% rise to break even
Don't forget, stop losses are your friend, protect your downside :);)
....Also what Bouchos said, always let the price settle in the morning
A note of caution peeps (from someone who bought back in yesterday). Sure we're heading in the right direction..... but no one will be rushing to the cinema to see Unhinged, Prox etc when Cine opens up on friday. We also know from Odeon's reopening, the classics didn't cut the mustard. Still some choppy waters ahead..... that being said you should all book your Tenet tickets for opening day when the box office opens later :);)
(3RD)
Regal just got it's official reopen date. 21st Aug (with Tenet 26th)

Completely correct invest99. There's dates have been known for a while.
I did buy back in this morning, when I knew the release time of the press release and happy to sit at 43p share average... but agree it could drop some more.
If you like the future of cinema and this Europe first Tenet approach, check out small cap Everyman Cinemas -
- UK only so will all be open for Tenet (doesn't have to wait for USA to open)
- Part of the governments 50% off food during August
- Boutique cinema so less people in attendance to get covid from
- Opening new locations this week so expanding
- SP At almost the lowest point in 5 years
Just watch AMC and Cineplex now, they're trading day is still active
As I said 9:46am this morning ;):):p
Today - If you know, you know ;)
