If Tenet shifts in the US, Mulan will shift (happy to take that bet :);). No official Mulan social post since April, no Mulan promo on the Disney homepage in the UK or US.
Another film the size of Tenet and Mulan? don't think so. Don't forget films in production this year, haven't been filming for four months, so there will be holes in the future release schedule, that allows flex.
Not a bad strategy but to echo some of the comments below, all eggs in one basket is a really bad idea. The majority of active investors have their core holding, this is long term companies or ETFs you have no interest in selling. Then a portion of wealth asigned to swing trades or more volatile stocks, amount dependant on risk profile.
You also don't need to find the very bottom or top - A lot of early investors main mistake is hunting for the very bottom or top, roughly the lows and roughly the highs is good enough to make decent money. The best analogy I ever heard was thinking of it like a herd of people running right or left. The people who lose money are near the back, the people who make money are near the front... and some time it pays to stand in the middle.
Keep funds in reserve - you don't need to go all in at a single price. Having money back means you can take advantage if a new opportunity presents itself.
Stop Losses - Don't forget to set stop losses, again dependant on your risk tolerance but always think a good idea for new investors
Agree with M00la, the resistence is at.... 52,53 but if Mulan or Tenet moves significantly, it'll break that to the downside (the shorters are betting on this). At the same token, if warner and disney stress their commitment to existing dates, it'll jump.... I've read every Tenet and Mulan tweet and news story for 3 weeks..... and I don't know. So I have a holding at a low price and funds in reserve if the films schedule moves. If I was to guess, staggered release, europe and asia first, US following at a later date... but an absolute guess and I've read everything.
Someone asked about cinema in foreign countries at the moment, good story here - https://twitter.com/THR/status/1284902584059342848
Happy Hunting
New Mooky interview on Bloomberg, last couple of sentences echo what I've heard from staff and was saying earlier today- https://twitter.com/BloombergTV/status/1284234656641101826
Anyone pick up any vaccine trades today going into Monday? grabbing a few going into the close, with some super tight Stop Losses to mitigate any loss. Bring on next week
duplicate post?
as I say, official comms line at the moment, they're going to say that. That being said, like yourself, I'm holding too over the weekend
Important to remember the 31st from customer services is also the strap banner on the website i.e. the official comms line at the moment. I spoke to a few staff members yesterday who are on furlough and they've not been told to gear up yet and have been told the reopening could move if the new movies shift. The studios and cinemas are playing a game of chicken. i.e. we need you open and operational before we confirm we're launching. We need you to confirm you're launching before we become operational
Wonder women 1984 has just started their partnership marketing. Make-up with Revlon launched this week. Wonder Woman 1984 walmart exclusive comic and Wonder Women Doritos (looks like they're planning to launch on Oct 2nd ;):)

Second biggest movie market in the world, 70k cinemas. Means a tenet / mulan move might be less likely. Although wasn't convinced by Mooky's response yesterday, happy to ride out though
Oxford Study paper is due to be published on Monday in the Lancet medical journal. Editor just confirmed to CNBC https://www.thelancet.com/ - as soon as it's out, it'll hit twitter or you can join their free mailing list - keep an eye out. CINE is very much a 'vaccine/recovery' category stock as pointed out by various people below
Agree, hold through Monday. They could announce a move for tenet before then.... but vaccine news will really help so like the risk / reward. Wasn't a member of the 52 club... but was a 53.29er (close enough) :);)
Who's in favour of changing the term Predictions to Guesses ;):)
I like that the focus has switched to passing on info. Less guesses and emotion :);)
I was just messing :), I think a staggered country approach is now more likely than ever. Unless they do a drastic move. Interestingly, Japan is seeing the start of another spike in cases - https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/country/japan/
If it's a real promotion? ;):) Come on guys, you know I only post the best info - https://wwws.warnerbros.co.jp/tenetmovie/index.html
New Japanese Tenet promo's released today with the 18th September date on - https://www.cinematoday.jp/video/VIYZqHZT0kRW7c
missed one of your notes - Mulan hasn't put a social media post out since 3rd April. I'll keep tabs on it all and keep you across
Hey Hosai, Agree with you on the Nolan reputation, I'll watch it anyway. More thinking from the studio perspective about film details. Be interesting to see the approach they take. Tenet has put cinema posters up in Singapore yesterday and was a sponsor of the UFC on the weekend, but the california news today isn't good.
Re-new york - I'm sad enough to listen to all the new york press conferences :) His thinking is, new york is the only state (one of) who's managed to make the dip really drop in the US. He's also aware that people are coming into new york from all the US where cases are exploding, so he's being very, very careful.
A staggered country cinema reopening is becoming inevitable. Question is, will Tenet ( twist based film) or Mulan be happy to release like that. No one knows. We know New York has no interest in cinemas at the mo, re-state governor. Unless these special air conditioning filters prove successful. Texas has just shut down bars and florida is doing what florida does, setting a new daily record today again.
