Disney = 40% of box office.
Disney are saying this is a test to see how successful it'll be. No other films lined up in this model at the moment
The theatrical window is dead, Disney too big
All this chatter and you missed the latest news. Mulan going joint release in cinemas and Disney + premium $29.99 - sept 4th
I found a useful link for you iTraderx3m - www.fakeprofile.com, now log back in as big smoke and write some a crappy response
Excuse me, I was aiming to understand iTraderx3m profile so I could provide some useful links. Don't be so quick to jump
£106 investment, how old are you?
Tuesday aftermarket news is going to be big. Disney (40% of box office) do earnings and will no doubt be asked about cinema, announce dates etc
doing great after hours following earnings, green market day tomorrow... perhaps ;):)
Tenet comes out 26th Aug good sir.... but there's a really important date next week, the 4th Aug, expect some movement on opening on the 5th.
Hey Hosai, if I said I understood 100% every aspect of the debt swaps myself, I would be lying... but I read up as much as I could and there was a big over reaction to the universal deal announcement. I like where the pound is against the dollar atm, so took a position (not a massive trade, while I learn more) to bet on cinema rather than just one exhibitor.
Got me some AMC a few days ago, done me really well so far. Although swings all over the place like CINE
Down 5% in the first 30 mins of trading
Up 5% in the second 30
The BB filled with Jibber-jabber
Just another day on CINE :);)
bahahaha sorry bud, I'm busy. Google is your friend :);)
If you're keen to delve deeper into 'the experiment', what this looks like and how it plays out.
They've actually tried this exact thing before, two noteable case studies:
- 2015 Paramount experiment
- South Korea
More minor news for you M00la.
Tenet just passed film certification in China, rumours of release Aug 27th, tickets on sale 11th Aug (NB - I haven't translated the article) - https://twitter.com/sallyvg/status/1288519463655088136
(...with one eye on Mulan)
Trailers for Wonder Woman and Dune will debut with the 10th Anniversary re-release of Inception that opens before Tenet

Hey DavidHos, amongst the name calling and petty banter ;):), this BB can be useful, we were discussing that news last night after CNBC broke the deal.
Here's Mooky's response - https://deadline.com/2020/07/cineworld-universal-amc-theatrical-windows-pvod-deal-1202998245/?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter
Nice drop in AMC today, if you like the new deal
Everyman is small cap Laidback, so everymove is around 3% up and down. Don't put much weight on that one.
yep, we were talking about this last night, it's the reason. AMC broke ranks and did their own deal with universal
Themuir - Not asking his advice.... but respect his opinion. If you were around a month or two ago, a bunch of us on the bb rode this all the way up and made decent profits.
Investroid can also pick up the shares that he just sold for a cheaper price so don't understand the bashing.
