Good morning tom, what's the point in keep trying to blame the CEO . NO company is run by 1 person it's a board decision with points put on each side and normally a vote with the CEO sometimes having the last say.

OK it's normally the CEO that takes the blame / can for things when things g wrong but otherwise all these moves are taken after discussion. But it looks like the city are happy to go with the board at th moment, and if they come out with an increase in Divi to say 2p-3p all will look rosie with big SP rise. Anyway have a good day.

Goodness a number of posters are losing faith here.

I look at it in a different way, at the moment you can out your money into or top up an isa but to get the best rates you need a fixed term with your money locked up for 1-2 years.

You can put it into savings with better interest rates but end up paying tax on your interest once you hit the £1k threshold. Or you can move your money to another stock that is low in SP and hope to make that killing but there arn't many of those around at the moment and you could lose as much as you make.

Or like me think at some stage soon ITV will bounce back to where it should be due to change in the top people/ city up-grade, takeover possability, good results and improved Divi.

ITV are almost the lowest they have been since last year so I bought another 10,000 at 68.4 yesterday and will now wait for £1 and Divi. Because we all know that once we sell at 68p-70p they will shoot up to £1 anyway. Maybe time to forget about them for a few months.

Hi tom, as normal you try to make it all about one person, it's not it's about ITV and a good business making good profits and Divi's.

I see you have moved from ITV is dead and the BOD's need to go, to now on the fence because if they do come out with good results and improved Divi the SP will rocket. We will just have to wait and see.

Hi guys, I still think this will drop a little more to 68p ish or less for the results and in which case I will buy more.

Didn't ITV say a little while back that they were looking to improve divi's for shareholders and so I think we might now see 2p for int, and then the SP will shoot up.

But does this mean the deal is now dead ?

and the SP will fall back to 80's ish ???

OK so the results are being delayed a few weeks which doesn't look bad, It still looks like they will make about £9m ebita and the same as they said it would be weeks ago so it doesn't look as if things have got any worse.

As noted in the interim results report issued in January 2023, the Board will consider the level of dividend for FY23 alongside completion of the audited final results, which will be announced on Friday 21 July 2023.

So does that mean we might get 1p-2p Divi ?

Surely these shares are much too cheap. !!!!!!

The trouble is ITV have had 1-2 days of up's and I think it will fall back a little to 68p-69p now until results as many / so will not want to still hold incase they are bad.

So after news that Netflix added millions more customers in March, will that have any impact on ITV /ITVX and results next week.

Talking about every man and his dog, what a fantastic job this guy has done a drift to keep him and his dog alive for a few months at see eating fish.

Tom you make some interesting points, but I think ITV are now in a much stronger position than last year and I think the low for this year has just been seen.

Ever stock gets to a position where at some stage the city comes to their senses and looks at what could/will happen. ITV is a great business in many respects with good income , good profits,good Divi's and with results next week , which could be very good and more consolidation likely ahead at some point . It's only a question of time.

Anyway that's the way I see it and don't want to be out when this takes off. every man /women and dog for their selves.

tom you have spent the last few months ****ging off itv and the ceo and saying this is going to 50p , and in the last few days it's now 60p .

can see this building to 75p before the results and then who knows £1.20 in 3 months. just my view but anything to be different to tom. !!!!!!!

Hi, more important is was Martin in favour or vote against any bid that was mad by Hedin last time, and when he has gone what if anything will stop any bid of 29p going through.?

Good morning tom, yes still here and stillwatching and hoping but not sure what's going to be said or happening next week.

Topped up at 65p ish and thinking of buying a few more but will hold off until next week because I wouldn't be surprised to see the SP go down again regardless of the results, but will be happy if Divi is 2p .

Although now we are talking about 5% for 1 year fix isa's , who knows what's going to happen next year with Divi earning being taxed more , CG tax earnings being axed, savings earnings being taxed more. looks like a poor world.

Just how are we poor people going to make any money without giving it all away. ???????

Further to its announcement on 16 June 2023, ITV plc confirms it continues to monitor but is no longer actively exploring the possible acquisition of All3Media.

I guess they looked at what it would cost against what they would get back and thought NO thanks.

Looks like a good move , rather than just wasting money.

Didn't Martin hold about 10m shares back in 31-Dec-20 Notification of Holding Martin Shaun Casha 0.00 0 9,559,780.

Does he still hold these and so sold to buy into Marshalls. ?

Or does he still hold and hopes to make a killing when Marshalls put in a bid of 30p ?

So another up-date still at the £1 mark but also still another BUY !!!!!

Hope you have now missed the boat as I bought more at 65p and hope it now goes up to 80p before the results and £1.20 after.
