Good morning on another wonderful day in November, but we are again seeing all these weid and wonderful mad ideas about almost everything to trash ITV.

The facts are if you don't like ITV or have no shares then just bugger off simple.

We all know many just come on these sites just for fun and wind others up with stupid ideas , and most/many of us just laugh. But for those that have money in the game and believe in medium term gain we just sit it out or add more.

" Tell me what is wrong with diversifying into another stock that has more chances of a rise " nothing and I have been doing just that with 6-8 other stocks at the same time.

and losing money on ITV , wrong I am up and made money so far this year on ITV and will make lots more when it hits 80p-£1.

we all have our own plans.

Sorry contrarian, we see things differently.

IYV is no longer a falling knife but already well inbedded into the floor, and as such I am buying more for the Divi next year and a SP growth back to 80p-£1 which we all know will happen at some stage 3-months -6months etc.

So from my point of view a very safe hold. But we all have to do what we think is right and that's my view.

If we all waited 3 days we would have to pay 67p-69p to get back in.

You must do what you want, it's already on the move up.

I think we can all say this SP drop is well over done on what are more or less what the city and everyone else was expecting. but then again this is ITV and if we remember the SP went down to 61p ish last Oct /Nov before going back up to 90p ish.

On the plus side it looks like it's a safe bet of 5p-6p divi for end of year numbers so many will pile in to get that payment, so I would expect the SP to rise from here and I have topped up again at this price.

All looks like we are still on track even though growth is lower but still growth.

Also looks like the fin Divi is safe of about 5p-6p based on this line .

Our balance sheet is robust which enables ITV to invest behind our strategic priorities and deliver returns to shareholders in line with our capital allocation policy.

Let's see what happens to the SP .

I guess the SP is lower today as some / many have sold before the trading statement just in case it's bad.

Maybe they have worked out that what they get in return doesn't pay for the out lay, so let BBC lose money on the deal.

And maybe they have other bids in the system, but I guess they have looked at the business plan and rewards.

The dame won't be going anytime son, why would the board get rid of her before 2024 when they should start to see the results of their investment work.

We are almost into 2024 and who ever takes over would then benefit from the Dames work, so still don't think she will be moved out. 2024 should see at lest £1.25and bigger Divi's of maybe 6p-8p for the year.

Good morning all and back from holiday.

I had a nice email reply from the Dame about the SP and ongoing things, and must admit it was a nice surprise that she had taken the time to reply but she did say 2022 /2023 was always going to be years of investment.

So the city and everyone was almost expecting this to happen until 2024.

She did also reaferm that it was the boards plan to return higher shareholders returns which could still happen in 2024.

So all in all I guess we are on plan and we will need to just sit this out for better returns, anyway that's my take. Cannot see her going untill at least the plan has time to work in 2024, so sorry tom I don't think you will get your wish but you might be surprised in 2024 if /when the SP hits £1.25+.

Hi tom, yes I looked at Cape Verde but couldn't get insurance for that so re-looked at Lanzarote which is under Spain and covered by the Ghic ( Global Health insurance card ) the old Ehic under our NHS system and covers us for A&E or hospital care in the EU .

So we will give it a try. thanks for all the good words all.

We used to go to the caribean twice a year in Nov & Feb but couldn't get insurance now without paying £1.500 -£3,000 so that was out.

Now I have to make every peny count.

Nothing to do with McCall, my wife's been on chemo for the last 3 years and just turned the corner so a nice break for us both in Lanzarote. Nice and frosty here in kent this morning but if I had my way I love it to be mid 20's all year.

Good morning tom, well I will miss anything that happens over the next 2 weeks as I have booked a holiday the first time in almost 4 years.

All I know now is that I will get a nice Divi end Nov and hope that when I get back in Dec the SP will be back over 90p-£1.

Looking forward to getting away and now coming on here.

It doesn’t really matter what you think of ITV, but at this price it must be a sitting duck just waiting to be taken out.

Just look at the assets it’s sitting on with all the studio business and broadcasting it has with turnover, profits and Divi’s.

There must be plenty of interested companies that could snap this all up for peanuts and then split it off to make a huge profit on the deal.

That would put many posters and shareholders at ease as the SP would be well over a £1 with any offer and get a new BOD’s.

It must be just a question of time at this price, so only good news to look forward to.

Tom have you noticed that for the last few days when the SP has gone down more shares have been bought than sold.

So it looks like the MM are dropping the price to someone buying more shares.It will turn.

Should get a Qtr 3 trading up-date in Nov, who knows what's going to be in it apart from sales up 40%, debt coming down and Qtr4 and year end look fantastic with Final Divi looking at 8p.

Then I would be happy.
