Yes I am sorry about the SP , it's my fault as I bought a lot more yesterday at 67.6p and sod's law has kicked in.

If I sell now the SP will go back up.

Still we do /will have a nice divi coming at the end of Nov.

Well at least it's both BBC & ITV , so shouldn't be that bad or maybe NO truth in it at all.

So what's this all about then enploying and paying freelance staff too much money and they want a reduction in pay, or what?

Hi Barcap, I have been sitting on these for what must be 2-3 years now so trying something different. I know what's going to happen I sell and the SP goes up to 90p we all get cault out but what the hell it's already started to fall, but will it fall back to 75p ish then I will be happy.

So trying something different now, just sold a big chunk I bought for 70p ish and now hope it drops back to 75p so I can buy back in cheaper.

Well they have just announced another buy back of shares to £15m, so I guess there will NOT be any Divi's for 12 months, but I could be wrong.

Sorry I mean 10p about 15% in one day.

Wow that's a big jump in one day over 10% which is great but I now expect many to sell and make profit while they can and the SP to drop back to say 75p before it starts to move up again.

So a profit of about £74m ish for year end but would have been about £100m if they include the £35m spent on buying back shares.

So a great result.

This is all very well and as they say returned £35m back to shareholders so far, well we haven't seen any of this back to us so far and the only thing that has happened is the SP going down from £1.40 to 70p ish.

I think I would have liked a 3p divi instead, but sooner or later the SP must respond.

Up-date looks really good for a change.

Sales up, profit up, Debt down, and at the moment it looks like everything is coming up roses in the garden.

Now let's see the SP go back up to £1.40 where it belongs.

Last year on the 11th Oct we had a 4th qtr up-date and a year end est, I wonder if we will get the same this week.?

If it's good it might help the SP recover.

NO, now that Rishi and his wife have made their statements and put the world to rights everything will start to come up roses, but will be a little thorny at times.

When you look at many major shares like BT, VOD,ITV, and many more they are all within a few pence of their lows. It's just the markets my boy and things will turn for the better. Now who said that .Oh me. Just go away on holiday for a few weeks and if nothing else you will feel better for all that eating and drinking and putting some pounds on. !!

Hi tom, been here all the time watching and reading, certainly didn't think ITV would go this low.

But it's not just ITV , just look at THG GNC where I have bought more and many others are down when normally this time of year shares start climbing again.

Look we all know things will turn for the better in time so we just have to wait a little longer.

But at this price it's a no brainer really.

Has anyone seen any bad news to make this drop so much?

Says who, the AGM is on Wednesday and not voted on yet with regards to the Divi, OK kelso say they do not agree with that divi but they only hold about 2% so shouldn't make any difference.

If The works gives way to someone who only holds 2% then it must be a very weak bod's.
