Toms been spouting on about the Dame for the last 1-2 years and done more harm than anyone to drop the SP , but then again that's been his plan like many other shorters here. Don't take any notice of what they say as they will be gone when the SP goes back above £1.

You just have to laugh anyway, many think these broker companies know what they are doing as they are ment to be professional people and make these up-dates based on a companies state re debt / profit etc.

Now I can understand these broker houses making an up-date after some results but to come out with price up-date before results and without knowing whats going on , just shows they are bigger gamblers that us and just trying to fix the market price to make money after the results come out. We should ban all broker houses from making these stupid price target within say 4-6 weeks of results just like the closed period for the directors. They just talk complete subbish.

So what your saying tom is my last post has done more to drop the SP in 30 mins than your 1-2 year negative posts about the Dame has done.

I must have a much bigger following than I thought.

So come on ITV get back to £1 where it belongs. Now see what happens.

It's because they are looking at the long term plan and don't give a fig about day to day SP and we small shareholders are just not important and that you must come to terms with.

Goodness me, over the last few months there have been so many negative and abusive posts from the same small number of posters trying their best to rubbish any positive post we have to wonder why.

I think many of these have put on shorts on ITV in the hope of making money but the truth is the SP has held up well and many are facing big loses, and that’s why they have become so abusive to others.

All us normal posters /investors can do is laugh and watch you lose money while all these remarks are like water off a ducks back.

If you are not positive and wanting the SP to go up then you should just leave and that would make the world a much better place.

But now I guess I will get more abuse for these remarks.

You are probably right, so please tell us where and what company right now you can get a divi of about 3.3p return for a SP of 61p-62p where the SP could also go up by 30-50% over a few months.

There's as much chance of the Dame going as there is a takeover bid and if an announcement was made before the results the SP would drop another 10p+ as the city would think the BOD's has lost it's way. When the matket gets back to about 8000 ITV will be £1. simple.

Well done PF , but doesn't it p*** you off . I used to hold many thousands of these for about 5 years + when the SP fell to the 20's and after losing faith I sold out with almost no gain. It does go to show that sometimes it can be a long term plan that works providing you have the years to sit tight and hope all changes. But we all know it always does this once we have sold out. Today I am sitting tight on ITV which I think is an even better bet for more profits, as long as it improves before I pass away waiting.

So the US market is now at it's record high about 38,000, and the UK is at about 7487 almost it's lowest and about 500 points below it's highest.

If that's the case we have to ask ourselves will the UK market now make it's way back up to 8000 over the next few months, after all investors on both sides of the water must be looking for growth and the UK looks like it has the most to gain. So anyone with ITV shares must be looking to gain 10p-30p at least when the market moves and with ave results for ITV it could be 10p-50p, on that basis I think I will be sitting tight for a while yet. Normally Feb-April can a good time with plenty of profits for all.

The amount of personal abuse you have posted over this time I am surprised you haven’t been banned for it.

It’s not all personal it’s just a game we play.

These brokers make you laugh with their price targets, can / has anyone seen any of these reports with the reasons why they give a price or are they just prices picked out of the sky.

There must be a broker report that we can / should al be able to see on why they give these prices and how they come to their numbers.

What also make you laugh is they give price up-dates before they even see the results with the facts in.

Hi con, I have bought and sold vodafone and got the divi's from 79p-90p and back down where it is currently what about 66p so another dog and no better than ITV.

Hi anon, that was my point with such a low SP it will make the BOD's do something more. Todays drop in SP is across the whole market so nothing in what ITV have done, and it will all come back as we get closer to results and 3p-4p Divi.

Good morning con, so another wild statement from someone that holds NO shares and just like to talk rubbish.

If that remark is false and you hold shares that you bought higher I take it you have / will now sell at a loss just for the sake of it.

Why don't you come on here with some thought through suggestions they will create talk instead remarks and info you no nothing about.

So like most posters a little shocked at the low SP, and while some/many on here call ITV a dog we all know what happens when you take off the dog lead and let it go.

ITV is just like that and if you sell now and the lead comes off the SP could and probably will take off, we all know that when we sell a share because fear sets in the next thing that happens is the SP rockets off high and we blame our selves for being stupid.

For me I will sit tight for a little while longer because with a SP at this level everyone knows that sooner or later ITV must / will do something to change it before someone bids and the BOD's could be out of a job.Just my view.

It just goes to show this is a big game for the city.

So why would any broker cut a price target for ITV now only a few weeks before the results, It's so the sp drops and they buy more in cheap and then the SP goes up well day after the results.

It's all about making money when they can and nothing to do with a companies performance.

Good morning all . I have been reading astill all this talk about the Dame, and I remember about 6-9 months ago many were saying then that ITV was too small and couldn't compete with the big boys and ITV needed to get bigger buy spending.

So over the last year ITV has done just that, but when you spend it takes time to gain the benefits but still the same posters she has spent too much for nothing in return. If she gets replace the next boss will still have to wait for the returns.

You just don't know what to make of some posters.
