I think that when a broker / any broker comes out with an SP target that is so far away from all the others rather than trying to push the SP down to suit their aims it just shows them up as being totally out of touch with market views , and makes it look like the staff /some staff are just talking rubbish.
If you were a main customer of theirs I think you would think twice about moving your money else where.

I think they have said in their last results that the final Divi will be minimum of 5p and they are looking to give more than that, so I think the final Divi will be more like 4p.

I guess some will see this RNS sale as a drop in revenue and bad for the business.

Thetrotsky, I agree with most of what you say , but they only need to buy another 21%-23% to take control assuming 47% ish don't take up an offer.
Once they have control they can let topps carry on but with most of what MSG wants.
Will be interesting to see what happens after the trading up-date and what comes out of the ADM.

Well this looks like a real dog fight. The RNS say MSG owns Nexterio, a retailer of tiles and associated products with over 40 outlets in Poland, which the Board understands is being prepared for a launch into the UK. A new company, Nexterio.UK Limited was incorporated on 22 November 2022,
Now MSG owns almost 30% of Topps so why would they then want to try and open / build a new brand in the UK with all those costs etc when it would be cheaper and quicker to just buy out the rest of Topps and change the name to say Topps /Nexterio.
Not rreally sure whats going on here or where the SP will now go. If MSG lose this vote will they now sell out their 30% stake in topps and push ahead with Nexerio in which case the topps SP will crash to say 30p-35p.
Any thoughts.???

Hi Kiwitwo, I don't know. Going by the last few months once it hits 78p /79p it goes back down again.
So will it now drop back to 74p/75p ?

Antlev I think it means or could mean that like many companies that go bust /admin, they will sell everything else but keep the name of Cineworld and try to sell that name or start up something new later with that name.

So here we are again at the same spot we were 6 months ago where they are still trying to sell the group and dilute everyone.
You know you can't trust any company that says ( will also run a marketing process in pursuit of a value maximizing transaction for the Group's assets, ) rather than be honest and say SELL.
If any one thinks this will be 20p under the current set-up you are dreaming. OK at some point under the new set-up where they have 3bn new shares and then a big consolidation of 10 or 20 then maybe 20p might be ok , but that will all be on new money you put in after losing all your current money. What a gamble . !!!!!!!

Where does this go, I guess that if Galleon don't get their way at this meeting they will then move to control all of Topps with a 75p ish takeover within a few days of the meeting, and why wouldn't they.
Could soon see the SP sky rocket to 75p-£1.

Good morning all, Good god all this talk about floors and charts etc etc,I have been playing this game for 40 odd years and the 1 thing many / most have not mentioned is LUCK .
You play the game with what you like but it's all just a big game of luck. simple as that.

It's all just a game, I think we all like to think we know what's going on but do we?.
What I do know is that when we buy we want the SP to go up and make money, when we are looking to sell we want the SP to go lower so we get the best price.
I also know / think ITV are doing a good job and in a little more time the SP will / should go back up, but I also know that we have another Divi coming in a few months which should make 5p+ in total. Now that's not dad and beats many other shares hands down while we wait for the SP to recover and maybe you can just buy and sell a few while we wait.
NO one should pay any attention to other posters views but our own, that way we only have ourselves to blame when things don't pan out the way we want.

Now it's getting silly, so I just added a few more in the 71's. was that the right call????

Getting sick of just waiting for this to gain more so started day trading this, this so over the last 6/7 days bought in 10,000 lots at 75p and sold at 78, just bought in again at 74.9p so lets see if it continues.
Got to make a little money when you can while waiting for it to go back to £1
