Agreed. Considering what Kibo are essentially ‘giving away’ in terms of future earnings potential for SEPCO3 to take advantage of then they shouldn’t be selling it to the lightly. JD

So current shares in issue is 635m. So 15% of that is 95.25m at 14.8 would be circa £14.1m capital injection. That would leave total shares in issue at 730.25m with north of £15m cash on the books and another possible SEPCO3 10% capital injection to come? Yup, I’d settle for that.

It’s a really hard one to call! As it’s not just a share issue, it’s an exclusivity on all the projects, which, if the three African projects end up going ahead will be EPC Contracts on something north of USD$2b IMHO in CAPEX.

In isolation, I don’t know how you can look at this RNS and come up with that. This company are taking (over time) nothing but Kibo shares for their business, suggests they think the investment is sold. JD

I doubt anyone was expecting that!! Couple of immediate things spring to mind is this is that all monies will be paid in shares (5.25p or higher) so you have to view this as a long term investment my MAST Energy (whoever they are). Secondly, who are MAST Energy? Registered in Blighty, so I wonder I wonder who the directors there are? JD

Interesting juxtaposition between EUA and KIBO in the last few months / years. Seem to have gotten into a position of issuing lots and lots of shares to satisfy their loans, again back to Kibo being completely burden free in that respect will save us a lot of needless dilution in the near future.

You are of course right, it’s a bureaucratic nightmare of a country, but just wondering about it, when dealing with large scale public infrastructure projects that will place large financial commitments on a country for years to come, which country isn’t?

NCCL in Bots has been going at this for what? A decade? ORCP in Pakistan, the best part of a decade also? When looking at our Peers in developing nations.

Even Hinkley Point C in this country took the better half of a decade to get the go ahead. This actually appears to be the rule and not the exception…

I just find it fantastically suspicious that the SP starts to rise when the market knows there is no placing (open to the general market) coming. It leads to you suspect naked shorting has gone on!
