He most certainly does have a point, but you can't just look at these things in isolation. Beyond all of this LC being at the helm of this company has these last few years got us into a position where he has managed to keep raising funds at prices that have both allowed them to progress MCPP and not allowed the SP to have been destroyed in the process. We now hace a cohort of other projects while pulling in major players to be part of the story here. If, for example he was to have come out in 2016 and said 'boy this new mining legislation is a horror show and it's going to cost us who knows what amount of time' the SP would have tanked. I can't help but feel he's done the right thing and kept the show (and SP) on the road during a time where MCPP under different leadership could have just disappeared from our grasp.and with it we would have had an SP at 1p. Has he 'ducked and dived' in this period? You bet your back side he has, but he's probably saved us all a fortune in the process and for all the procrastination, if and or when he pulls this off he'll probably make us a fortune too. JD

Just to play devils advocate, selective facts, surely? No mention of the worst bear market in the commodity sector in my lifetime and no mention of JPMs election in 2015 which has all but blew apart any progress at MCPP in the last 2 plus years. Yes facts are great, but you have to consider them all, surely? JD

I think we (I say we, not me though) have become all a bit jaded at having multi billion dollar multinationals jumping into bed with us. Key bit for me is there was more than a hint of GE ‘helping out’ on funding for projects. I had expected this or a similar RNS to be fair however it is positive reinforcement for those who needed it that MCPP is a cast iron goer as soon as the GoT pulls its finger out. JD
