Not just us, looking at our immediate peers or the sector generally on AIM and it’s hardly pulsating with life at the moment.
The Sino / American / SEPCO3 / GE dynamic is an interesting observation, I had thought about this as well, when you think back to the SEPCO3 July 03 RNS I though GE would have followed suit immediately with a similar buy in stake, however, after the GE announcement that was clear it wasn’t going to happen, therefore I think it’s fair to hypothecate (maybe wrongly) that as part of the SEPCO3 buy in was that it was a Chinese Option only and that they would only do it if this was for their exclusivity only. SEPCO3 are the Chinese State, don’t forget that, so you have to conclude that by them buying in here they have a good deal of assurance that the US (GE) will not have as big (or more) a say in KIBO Energy PLC’s affairs.
LC could well have had SEPCO3 in competition with GE over this and went for SEPCO3 as that was simply the better deal?
