It’s the later, Bcl, and we both know it. The notion that Sanderson would have this kind of capital tied up for that length of time, well, I just don’t believe it.

I expect 1p+ in a very short order and with it a Sanderson / TG Capital payday.

Just crunching the numbers here on where the placing and ultimate geared placings at 0.45p, 0.80 and 1.00p will leave us: 1,638,387,130 / Sanderson – 318,093,865 or 19.41% / BoD – 165,430,713 or 10.1% / Sanderson & BoD Combined – 483,524,578 or 29.51%. It would appear that the aim of this (other than making the BoD a killing) is to leave them jointly at or about the 30% mark, and keep effective control of the company. Add to this the £550k or so we owe Sanderson via the debt facility and I would expect this to be converted to shares very shortly which would leave them at just under the 30% mark (and mandatory takeover) so Sanderson and BoD will own circa 35-40% when this all shakes out.

I wonder how quickly 1p will be on us………….

I think your right, I expect this to bump up tomorrow at opening. If you look at this in the cold light of day this is a £5.83m cash raise over the 0.45, 0.80 and 1.00p gearings, the BoD have stuck in £250k and their largest shareholder the same, with more to come through the price gearings. From a standing start a new shareholder would look at this and think good things considering the current MCAP to these numbers. The BoD and Sanderson clearly expect big news and soon(ish) otherwise they’d not have put up this kind of personal cash (with more to come through the gearings placings) if they thought this was going arrssee up.

That said, it still sticks in my throat.

SGB, 100% that’s what happens IMHO, I fully expect Moz to motor shortly after the Presidential Election there on 15 October then add in MCPP PPA(s) by the end of the year as promised in the Q&A and I see how this all transpires throw in the MCIPP ML on a 700m+ tonne mine and you see these 0.8p and 1.0p Warrants are a bit of a joke.

I suppose our working capital for 2 years is now secure and we know what cost that will come at (1.6b shares or so will be in issue once all warrants exercised), I can at least make an investment decision based on that.

I’d imagine LC and the BoD where made to put skin in the game by Sanderson as a price of getting the placing ‘off’. But to wait for years and now to do it just stinks of cynical opportunism.

The joke is with Sanderson, TS Capital Client (whoever their clients are) and the BoD will now make a killing, expect a PPA or two to now land imminently!

So, this dilution comes at a circa 333m shares at 0.45p for £1.5m. The next one comes at a circa 333m shares at 0.8p for £2.66m. And the one after that at circa 167m shares at 1p for £1.67m, so if and or when this goes back to 1p it really is a £5.8m fundraising at a cost of 832m shares or so?

Generally (and I’ll come to my gripe) it’s a solid bit of business that gets the monkey in terms of revenues off our back for circa 2 years working capital, it’s a big bazooka that should see us rise steady from here as our projects progress and I am very aware of the shocking market conditions out there, it’s a solid bit of business.

But the BoD loading up and with warrants at an all-time low is a ****I.N.G cheek!

‘Roadmap’ and ‘Jigsaw’, I’m lost on where you are going with this?

Anyone who has been here longer than 5 Minutes knows exactly what the strategy here is in terms of MCPP, there is only one piece of the ‘Jigsaw’ left and that’s to find an offtaker for the power, beyond that, it’s funding and construction, it’s not a difficult equation.

The question really here is do you believe LC has the necessary skills and functions to pull this off? I have invested on the basis that he will. Others will have there on opinion, but specifically to MCPP it’s pretty binary here.

I’m still of the genuine opinion that MCPP still is a case of ‘when not if’. There is simply nothing in terms of large scale / base load energy project in the pipeline that is either advanced enough or feasible to get into production in any timeframe to coincide with the implementation of the EAPP / SAPP Interconnectors, and I include the joke that is the Stiegler’s Gorge Project, which the last site progress photo I saw was in June of this year which saw 2 No. JCBs on site moving some rocks about. Perseverance will prevail here IMHO.

I would add, Bcl, a placing or any variant is the secondary issue here, closure in this quarter of 1)MCIPP Mining Licence; 2) MCPP PPA(s); 3) Vale PPA/CSA and commencement of the Bordersley Plant is what is needs to be executed above all else.

A placing / cash raise / share issue is of course a given, it’s how / when it’s done.

If it is a ‘bog standard’ placing then it had better be for more than 100m shares / £500k! There is no point in that IMHO, you may as well just get on with it and do it properly and raise 6-12 months cash / £1.5m or so and get the ‘monkey off our back’ so to speak.

200k bought, 216,217 sold, net of 16,217 sold. That’s a £97 net sale. The markets are in the tank, we are heading in to a world recession and zero new money is coming into the Junior (or Main) Markets. That’s the story here, not the fundamentals.

It could very well get a lot worse before it gets better. As for the unicorn placing? I’ve yet to see it!

Go to minute 33:15(ish) where he talks about Kibo. Of course, this is part of the new tie up we have with these guys which was posted on here earlier in the week, so it its interesting at least to see where the PR will be coming from in future.

Interesting for nothing else that how depressed the market valuation are against the in-situ assets they have and not just us.
