JimJam, I love to be patronised....I am well aware of the contents of the RNS. No one disputes the financial strength of the company. To reiterate, the insurance payout is not a given. My concern is whether organic growth will be sufficient to offset the losses.

To be fair to Fender he did apologise. He also provided his calculations to back his feelings. The SP has extraordinary volatility. From my perspective I struggle to see how the company can regain the losses this current through organic growth or an insurance payout. If it has to throw everything in bar the kitchen sink to make up the losses then it will be concerning.

Equally, I have no idea how much upgrading IT will cost. These are imponderables that make me cautious. If you are looking 2 years ahead, then I am confident but it is a bit lap of the gods stuff.

Unalloyed optimism can be a good thing but I prefer to see what the analysts are forecasting rather than relying on Neil's daily unbounded enthusiasm. As I said, Stuart's presentation was excellent.
