Looking at Fender's list of the tax burden that retailers like MKS have to bear and the rubbish talked by this government about supporting businesses just shows how out of touch this government is. No great surprise. Apart from 'uman rights lawyering and charity work none have ever worked in the real world.

All they do is produce more legislation to make life more difficult for business.

My old friend Fender is worried about price competitiveness and hard times might make the MKS customer base drift to horrible places like Sainsbury and Tesco. I don't see it. Our customer base is seriously affluent and immune from fiscal shock. Fender is a bargain hunter in everything he does. He just loves a deal! Shopping at MKH is experiential and life enhancing

David, you would think a takeover target . All the heavy lifting is done. My gut feeling is that unless a bid was a very hefty premium it would fail. I never understand why anyone would wish to be a plc unless you needed access to cheap money. What a dream buy MKS would be for private equity and for senior MKS management. A chance to make serious money and not have to keep on the plc treadmill. This company is seriously undervalued for no good reason

We live in a capitalist society, and companies like Grizzly are perfectly entitled to carry out research to determine whether a company is behaving corruptly or otherwise. Companies these days are often run by greedy CEO's interested only in lining their pockets. Companies like Grizzly are essential protection for investors. I keep repeating ad infinitum....if Trustpilot feels that the report is defamatory, it has access to justice: strangely, it has failed to slap a writ on Grizzly...just wondering why....and stop accusing people with a point of view of trolling. It makes you seem witless.

Baron, you are correct again. Too much wishful thinking. Grizzly have not gone into this without a lot of thought. It is not some vague attempt but one carefully thought through. If it was so sure of its ground, the co should have issued a writ etc

Jackdog...they may well threaten to take legal action: indeed, they may commence legal action but they may not win and, worse, stuff could come out which may not further the company's reputation or the SP. It may have been advised that the legal road-as the baron implies, could be bumpy. You can be sure Grizzly has had very good legal advice

Baron....wow....dangerous strategy....too many hostages to fortune. If they are 'shocked' sounds like they don't know what is going on.

But, I think you have got to the core of the matter
