Yes, interesting about the amazon removal. I don't think it costs to lists products on amazon (you just pay your cut to amazon when the item sells). So possibilities in my head:
- They are going to relaunch on amazon alongside the new products.
- They may have rejigged the products they have now as there was a fair amount of crossover in the kits. E.g. they may be combining the food allergy kit and the heart kit into one kit. Or possibly combining all the kits into one.
- as you say, maybe a retailer exclusive. Although I would have thought unlikely as they sounded like they were looking at getting into multiple different stores in one of the last updates

Seen as how we had an RNS for selling on Amazon, would we not need one for stopping selling on Amazon?

We did acquire a couple of companies with some of that money though. Around 1.5m combined for nell and the genome store I believe. They have also said they are looking at further acquisitions

I think any people getting screens from Samsung are covered by the US case. Basically if we win, we will get money, but that will allow Samsung to legally use our tech and that includes supplying others.

We may go after other users of our tech who aren't supplied by Samsung though

Yes, you can't really compare how PI like us invest to the way the big boys do. Obviously they want to make money, but have to pay a lot more attention to other things like risk, diversification etc.

I won't be losing any sleep over it. Managed to top up at under 35p the other day, which was definitely, maybe, possibly, probably not... my final top up...

Do we know who the Asian chemical company is? I was trying to figure it out the other day, but there were none that really stood out.

It looks to be in Taiwan or Japan from the revenue breakdowns in the latest results. Possibly fujifilm or mitsubishi chemical in Japan. Couldn't find many from Taiwan that would be a good fit - formosa chemical maybe.

At least with the way samsung did violate the IP, it gives us fid evidence that they did infringe (the email etc). If we'd have told them nothing and they ended up using the IP anyway somehow, it would be a lot harder in court.

BT seemed to want to make it clear that the phrase had been misconstrued by people and that he simply meant it to mean that the judge had dismissed the summary judgement motion from Samsung. Nothing more.

Just finished listening to the investor meets presentation. Very good show by BT. Appreciate that he went way over time so that he could answer every question put to him.

Had to laugh at the fire alarm mid way through as well.

My key takeaways:

Assuming we win in US, we will be using Germany to increase the leverage and try and get Samsung to settle. Sounds like we will probably wait until the Germany IPR is over before getting an injunction to prevent the bond risk. Unless our backers are willing to pay the bond on our behalf of course.

When asked about sufficiency in trial, BT said they would only comment on material risks. Meaning he doesn't think Samsung have a chance with the sufficiency argument at trial. Makes me feel a lot more confident.

He seemed to suggest that the initial application for sensing material might be in glasses/VR (apple glasses?) Rather than in phone handsets. Could just be being cautious.

BT has a law degree. Didn't realise that.

I know we pretty much knew this anyway, but more proof that the European electronics customer is ST micro was in the preliminary results. In the table sorting revenues by geographic area, the lions share of our revenue is coming from Holland - £1.4 million

BT must read this forum (or similar). The number of times he tried to stress why he said "and so we're going to trial" seemed to be aimed at those arguing on boards like this about what he meant and whether there was still a chance of settlement.

The whole point of these investor meets Q&A's is for us normal folk to ask questions . No need to be elitist about them. I asked another company a couple at their latest call and they were well answered by the boss.
