Actually price of Iodine is very high, on this factor alone is a considerable positive. Interesting though that the Hemp side is also doing well I believe and a member of the BOD is also on the board of Zoetic which deals in Cannabis so would assume very experienced in this also.
Does anyone know if the price of the hemp business is already built in to the price. I can not see it is as the price has not really changed that much since the business has grown and the rising Iodine prices are really just bring the price up to where it was before the falls. So I guess the reall increase in Iodine and problems in Chile are not accounted for. Any Views?
Listening to the the strange things being said here from both sides shows how few investors are here and the sheer cxxp that is spoken.
1, Not sure who spoke about dividends but why the hell would a company this size even consider dividends and who in their right mind would want them? growth is key
2. How can any one state the company has no income> It owns 8 wells currently spewing out oil at no cost themselves producing a free income. Until these are sold off officially that income belongs to Zoetic with a couple a million a year minimum. when they sell that will realise capital. They have just done a deal to pick up a whole load of shares to be held in reserves from a previous subsidary owner. Sales are made from both Nitrogen and water and also from the Hemp being sold already in the market. So although not massive they are certainly earning.
What company does not hold some debt as long as they csn afford to pay it which Zoetic can easily.
Company just floated to OTC realising more capital gain.
Information is coming out regularly from the BOD and overall positive.
So seriously stop the crap just trying to sink the price! This is a great share and potential is massive! give them a chance to prove it which in ,y humble opinion they are doing and well.
Hi Dick,
So what was your name under HNR? This share is now being shorted. they still have the income coming from natural resources and they now have money from the floating yesterday and they are still selling products with more to go. so what is new guys on the bad new front. This share was driven upto 13 for what exactly. so where do you get 6 from? can you explain a reasoned answer? Doubt it! Actually there is no reason, maybe this share will not rise so high as 20 in the near term but it will rise up to 12 to 13 as this is a fair price at this stage in the game with new news coming out. Person I will invest in the states on the OTC. The rise was about the good news! not about ramping. look forward to today where a rebound will be a logical move.
Unfortunately until they make shorting illegal, honest decent investors will lose money. China banned shorting completely now market is operating more smoothly. Shares rise on news.
I agree 30 is a fair price but i can see this hitting 22 just looking at recent history 22.50 seems to be the base line where downward resistance is formed. I guess also the market is a little unsure as well.
shorters still working
no reason for this falling
1. Iodine price up meaning greater profit margins
2. New uses for Iodine in the pipeline in the medical field
3. Use of Iodine is unlikely to fall just increase due to the importance of it
4. Kentucky fully licensed to process the hemp
5. Iofinax coming up with solutions for the uses of Hemp in medical field (non halluciagenic)
6. Hemp itself is a massive market and growing at a great pace
Seriously, what exactly is there not to like here and the price is heading the wrong way for sure, 30 will be back very very soon! Last rantings between Shi and Trump before they settle down and negotiate and massive benefit for Iofina
Iodine spot market strengthens on suppliers' push for higher prices 03 October 2019
okay 5% fall
any ideas why, just market? done some research and Oct prices Iodine even higher surpassing 32 dollars, Iofina must be raking it in as this is the main business. Price is way to low considering all business seems to be moving ahead in leaps and bounds and even the Hemp side is doing well, profit take I guess or a bit of shorting....
The global iodine market's price ranges have been narrowing amid sustained price increases, while overall prices reported have been close to and above $32 per kg due to suppliers' attempts to achieve higher prices. Read More
Iodine spot price hits four-year high with range continuing to widen 13 September 2019
Must admit I would have though there would be a lot of investors out there wanting to load up at these prices, great news comes out and price is down, I guess shorter's giving a tug I would assume by the end of the day the price will be safely above 0.30p I would reckon. News is too good and with results coming through any time!!!!
Looks like the options are increasing greatly. Talking about the growing CBD and IOF come up with this one, new plant in a new area that is brine rich.... sounds pretty damn awesome and has so far sent the share rising.
What is brine and how is Iodine extracted?
I guess a really good rise on the back of this which is incredible news as the costs are covered, means the results are also going to be good, other wise they would not be expanding in this market with the view to further expansion in the future. and on top of that 35 dollar Iodine must be making a big dent in any debts we have. pushing us closer to parity!
What you reckon guys and ladies?
Think we have some really good news coming as price seems to be holding well, (touch wood!!!!) normally bad news coming the market would have know and the share would have dropped by now. But coming up to results and price seems okay, so (fingers crossed this time) we could well be on to a winner with hopefully a gradual but long term rise.
Just read this that I thought was interesting. Not sure if this guy is still actively on the board but makes my original thoughts of IOF buying HNR (now Zoetic).
Zoetic International plc (LON:ZOE), the cannabidiol (CBD) and natural resources firm formerly known as Highlands Natural Resources, has appointed Paul Mendell as non-executive chairman.
Mendell is part of the group’s advisory board and has been involved with the company since its initial public offering in March 2015 as part of the group’s advisory board.
Zoetic said Mendell has been instrumental in identifying natural resources projects and helping establish the CBD business, particularly by seeing the potential of the nitrogen-hydrogen gas discovery in Kansas.
He was the co-founder of iodine firm Iofina PLC (LON:IOF) and has owned interests in more than 250 horizontal and vertical producing oil and gas wells in the US.
See HRM changed name and is now hemp business, starting to rise. makes this baby a prize winner clearing debt, expanding in all areas and Iodine price a rising.... 35p gotta be on the cards, know i am being hopeful but 30 really does seem too low for this share.
Just looking back over last couple of months news from Iofina and everything was positive, listed below, from Stock Market Wire. Really I can understand how we are not hitting 50 or more. so agreed NMH19 sure it is only a matter of time before this share launches again.

is very strange the movements and highly unpredictable,. Divi would be okay though to reinvest the money or share buy back might afford a better price for the share, way to early i reckon though. hopefully next week will offer some SP growth. and some good news from the company would be nice also.you are right the 2;00 was for a very short time some screams of joy and screams of rage i guess with the speed of ascent and descent. prefer steady growth myself
I am talking about Iofina not HNR.... HNR could be anyones guess and the negatives still seem to be wanting to supress it but I do not have a holding there sold out a while ago due to the constant negativity Guess they did me a favour.
Appreciate your view, interims are the important indicator as to how the company is faring, though recent info out from the company have indicated the company is doing very well. You are complety correct in suggesting that the share price has no relationship any more to the real value or how the company is doing. It is now governed by speculators which is extremely sad and should really be made illegal as many investments are based on the markets.
The price has already increased a lot but bare in mind it had also fallen a lot prior to the rise. so 30 pence a share is really a minimum for the share price.
The price of Iodine has increased greatly while the share price has not really reflected this.
The new business again has great potential but also again is not reflected in the share price.
This company has been as high as 2 pound 50 and has pottered a long as high as 50+ and as low as 10 for about 5 years. all the while the company has been growing and is now in a stronger shape than it has for a long time. Based on that it should really be trading towards the upper end of the level . Would you not agree. Again the interim's will tell.
You never know what lay in store around the corner and what hidden surprises good or bad lay in weight..... but this is a mature company and has a pretty strong niche..... and a good moat!
by the way oil is currently very cheap and will not stay this low.
Iofina is also extremely cheap and after the (I assume profit taking) their price should start moving up to 0.50 p a share in the short term as it is also well under priced as you mentioned also in what you were saying. they are experts and major players in their field. which is growing
Totally agree, but Iodine is very much centred on China, China's economy is on a massive down turn. (and before you say it manufacturing was up last 2 months) I live in China in the centre of the main industries and many are suffering here. It is only up because massive orders are being put in to get the sales through before the new tariffs hit. many orders need three months before delivery. Iodine is an excellent product as it is used in the medical field among others and more uses are being found.
But so is Hemp, hence HNR is selling out on the oil which was its main business and is a cashcow to concentrate on that market, the price of the company is greatly discounted to its real asset value. logically just the oil which is earning more a year than the value of the company on its own with out taking into account the Hemp business which has already started doing business. As IoFina is also in that market the Nitrogen would not be a bad thing at all for Iofina. and to slot the businesses together would advance them considerably and increase both sales and asset value. the only issue that I would see is that HNR is selling Hemp in general ways of usage whereas Iofina is looking purely for medical. but they are still growing and HNR have proven that their Nitrogen has increased yields by 30%, strip out the parts of the business they do not want and sell it off and they will recoup the money they paid and get the Nitrogen and possibly CBD for free. Not sure what there is to push away with a barge pole. the same old gang have been bla bla blaing about RP and HNR but be honest if the company is so bad then why are they still there and not moved on.... seriously! The biggest losers are those trying to force the price down, you heard nothing from them while price was rising then they came out in force at a certain price and trashed the company forcing the price down, also probably pumping money at lower prices to bring price down. that is not RP nor HNR that is just not very nice people. A lot of people have lost money because of them, do you think RP would have left if the share price was still up at 24 or even 30 as was. nothing has changed with the company except they are now making money and have a potential bonanza in their hands...... Iofina have both the money and the expertise to realize that bonanza and cash in on it. so IMHO it would not be a bad thing.
Maybe, maybe not,
Though to be honest Iofina picking up the whole company at today's share price would be a bonanza as the assets far out strip the company value. The oil income which comes with 7.5% of revenue without any costs incurred is cashcow. there are also the potential for a further 8 wells as the land is full of high grade oil. Then the CBD side is growing fast with high grade Nitrogen from their own source growing plants at a far greater pace and already have business in the UK for sales and other meetings in place, website sales are now available also. with company valued at under 5 Mill at these prices the oil alone brings in a cost free income (just tax) of at least this. then their other sites such as Montana which is still being processed if they do hit rich here it is icing on the cake and if not then sell the land and make clear profit. Win Win, CBD business can merge well with Iofina's existing business. so could keep that side and sell the rest and recoup the cost of purchase while getting their CBD business for free with existing customers. What ever way you look at it Iofina should run the slide rule and get in quick before someone else does...... price will probably drop to day as it has a set of seriously negative derampers that have trashed the company and board (unfairly so) to crash the price for their own gain (shoring I guess) it was actually proved by one investor that some of the derampers there were actually the same person with multiple accounts... probably RP is just sick and tired of them and decided to get out for the sake of the business. He is actually looking at buying the oil interests himself so the company can concentrate on the Hemp. With a falling pound, strong income and reserves Iofina could do a lot worse than buy it minus the derampers, especially if the price falls further. If that share falls to a value of 4 and under then to be honest someone will pick it up just for the asset value, sell it off and bag a tidy profit. Good call @BoardsOfUK
