Check out MAB - good bit of my portfolio in there, severely undervalued in my opinion on net assets alone.

They will scoop up independent pubs on the cheap next year and probably gain sizeable marketshare after all this is over.

ive topped up, lagging the industry and the industry itself is still at all time lows.

Funny how this is sitting at the placing price institutions brought into, such a positive RNS yet hasnt gone past the 230p range.

Couldnt be more obvious that this is set to recover, only reason im trying to hold of on not topping up is because this is already by far my largest holding...

Yep, something else is definetely going on, must be a leak of some sorts, merger? acquisition? or a fluke...share price pattern isnt normal at all.

the fact that this is still below the 270-280p when we was in the peak of covid shows how much this has to go.

Very undervalued in my opinion, its not going to 450p again anytime soon but this should atleast be back to the 270p range and float around there until vaccines are in the wider population with it then drifting into the 330p range.

This hit 270-280p in peak of covid, we now have a vaccine and are much better equipt, the market will slowly realise NEXs potential and it will be back to those levels in short order.

It falls only when short termers/day traders sell up for quick gains, let them.

Still a third of the 52 week high....good news overall though.

Congrats to all holders, steady rise from here, sentiment is changing and we are still far below pre covid 19 levels.

Guessing the chat boards crashed with so many comments related to the vaccine.

Probably 250p+ as by that time the vaccines should be in widespread circulation and should be in some level of normality with reduced social distancing measures, perhaps almost none.

I do wonder what the ratio of independent vs chained pubs is pre covid and as of today then in a few months time.

Why would there be a steep decline tomorrow, announcement was made days ago...

What are investors current views on NEX over the last 2 or so months? I feel like the dire situation of 110-120p range is long gone ( i hope) and it definetely feels as though this is now the new floor. There is so much bad news factored in I can only see a upside from here.

Ive topped up, think the worst is behind us, was expecting a retrace but 2 days of gains on the back of a 2nd lockdown shows how oversold this is.

Pubs alone are valued at peanuts when comparing the number of pubs to the market cap.

I was very worried over the weekend this would tank yet its barely moved, shows how much has actually been factored into the price.

The list of downsides is getting less and less with every moving month, at some point the cavalry will arrive (vaccines, larger contract wins, takeover of smaller companies) and this thing will pop.

Unfortunetly although some % of risk of a 2nd wave is baked into the share price, im still expecting a drop on monday (and not seeing a bounce neither) as this time it has now basically told everyone a full lockdown is never off the cards.

Im up slightly on this which will help absorb some of the impact on monday but very depressing....

The only possible golden nugget move is economic measures they announce to save pubs/restaurants specifically, some sort of tax break/reduction in business rates over a much longer period that absorbs much of the costs sort of like transport but very unlikely...

Yes you are correct - what you are saying is what most investors are thinking however you have to keep looking at the share price to what the value of the company is for MAB - does the price reflect the value is all you need to understand and if it is cheaper then buy, if not sell.

Im betting on this going up rather then down.

I hold shares in MAB (mitchells and butlers) - and they barely moved when lockdown restrictions were put into place in the north....if actual pub shares have barely moved but NEX which has almost 0 impact tanks 15-20%, it shows you how out of touch the share price is currently.

Can it go lower? certainly yes, will it? possibly....Depends what you are trying to achieve with this share, im only looking at 1/2/3 year horizons and this will be multiples of what its trading at now.

This is firmly under the radar in my opinion, its a UK listed transport company so its pretty much discounted to that of a company operating purely in the UK with the lockdowns over exaggerating the share price. The US isnt looking at this at all because its some poxy small less then £1billion market cap transport company listed on the LSE.
