Does anyone have a view on the rise of institutions now approaching and owning nearing 90% of iTV, general ownership by the public has reduced from its previous 15%. Don't know if anything can be read into this. Any views please or insight.

Hollamatronic - you do of course make a valid point however the validity of my post should be judged in part by the fact that 'Tomholland' who is never shy in coming forward, has not posted anything to say I am not correct in what i have said, given the nature of the man don't you find that strange?. My post was in good faith with his well being being the reason for disclosure but if the interaction continues then the BB will continue to get sidetracked, posters will get frustrated and his destructive cycle will continue. I have said my piece in this matter and will say no more.

Dear all given the volume of airtime given to Tomtit I thought it was time that i made you aware of a number of facts and the reason for his absolute hatred for iTV, it may also surprise you when i tell you he has never owned ITV shares but i will explain. First of all i will start and end with something that many of you will not like but please stick with me. Tom is not his real name and he does post under different names but you would never guess as he presents a different persona for each one. The one you know as TomLondon is the more virulent and destructive. However I can tell you he is a decent man whose life has been shaped by a number of decisions he has made. For those who haven’t realised, he loves the interaction and feeds off abusive and frequent posts as he believes this puts him in a position of power over you all, and the reason for this is simple as he has no control over his own life. Recently his falsehoods have increased to having millions, having a top London job and a lifestyle that we all could only dream of. These ever increasing fabrications correlate to his failed predictions and the need to hit back at criticism. He needs to be in control.

He is one of two brothers born to proud and hard workingJewish loving parents. A number of years ago his Aunt died leaving all of her wealth including a property in north London to both brothers. The shared amount was enough to buy an average London property outright. Tom decided to invest his money in the stock market despite his ex wife telling him not to. What happened next led to them splitting up on bad terms. Tom bought (and it was unfortunate) shares in a reasonable company, unfortunately he bought when they were are there highest £13 plus and sold at just under £7, the amount he lost was substantial. The large London property he wanted was not possible but yet a small flat was. Despite lots of advice given to him, he was not prepared to bide his time and wait to build up potential investments. Instead he went into CFDs where the rewards are great but the risks are high and not for the faint hearted. His positions were wiped out by short trading and bounces that occur in daily trading. Not having a career (as he had relied on his parents then is Aunt) his options for supporting his family were limited. They split and he now lives in a rented property that he shares. He has become more and more bitter as time has gone on to the point of being self destructive. Now the reason why he hates ITV and is particularly hateful towards the CEO is that the company he invested in was EasyJet and of course you will know that Dame Carolyn was the then CEO.
I started by saying I would finish with something you might not like but can i ask you all to simply ignore him. Someone made a good point that filtering him out would simply result in him repeating his behaviour but with a new cohort, so please for his mental well being please just ignore him. Please.

I just love reading Tommys ramblings. If anyone reads what he says you know that his insight and integrity is matched by his imagination and mendacity. For confirmation just read what he has said in the last couple of days, he has stated ITV will disappear, it will be broken up, its worthless, its a donkey but then he has also posted "I will buy back when this is back in the 70s". Why would you say that if it has no future. Tommy should stick to serving his mochas and cinnamon strudels. For those who have filtered him out you are missing a treat he is incredibly comical, although at times he reminds me of a medical condition I once had that was quite embarrassing, as it was a pile. The similarity is due to fact that both pop up now and again, both can be irritating and both are full of s**t.

I have said it before and I will say it again. If you all as a collective filter TT out, then your actions have been brought about by the very person you clearly dislike. Why of why would any of you allow someone to dictate and moderate your individual behaviour, because that is exactly what he is doing to you, and clearly he loves it. Let me bore you with a memory from many years ago. To be exact it was 40 years ago I was at school and not for the first time I along with my school pals had a detention that would last a hour. The teacher however gave us an opportunity that would end our detention in sixty seconds flat. All we had to do as a collective was to stay silent for 1 minute, that meant no noise, no giggling, no talking, no farting. Nothing. Well guess what, we failed as there was always someone(myself included) who would make a sound and the longer it went on the more frustrating it became especially with the knowledge that compliance for any period of 60 seconds would end this unwanted detention. After 90 minutes we were allowed to leave as failures and with clear animosity amongst ourselves as we could not do this simple task. So why am I boring you with this story, there are three reasons. The first is that all you have to do is to ignore him totally, view his post if you want, then ignore him. It's that easy just like the task I was set 40 years ago with the point being its within your power as a collective and again for you to moderate his behaviour not yours. The second point links with the first in that everyone has the right to express an opinion so long as it is not offensive. I am not aware that he has ever been offensive but clearly antagonistic. The third point is that whether we like it or not, opposing views can be uncomfortable but they just might have an element that needs consideration and being that most of us (I presume )are investors or speculators this cannot be a bad thing. 99% can be diatribe but that 1% might be useful. For most of us his constant negativity is annoying and this is magnified if you have investments and I fully understand that, but for me i will continue to read, filter and ignore as i see fit and so should you all (including this post as is your right). Finally all i want is to continue to read many of the insightful posts that do come out on this BB that are relevant, challenging, provoking in the knowledge that i am the filter and I have the choice to embrace or ignore. So do you.

NigeCo - keep on posting, everything you do is clearly in good faith, don't let Tomtit moderate your behaviour as he will see it as a victory in his tiny little world, hence it will mean everything to him. The reason why he is still here and posting is that he still holds a position with ITV and with a loss. With him being furloughed and not able to sell his Bianco forte coffees with cranberry muffins he is struggling. Just laugh at him and turn his negativity into a positive, that's what his therapist tells him anyway.

Lango32 sorry to disappoint you Tom cannot admit defeat by his actions as his profits, job in the city, six figure profit this year is all a fantasy. He is currently on furlough and he cannot wait to get back to serving customers in Costa. The most exciting it gets for him is when a customer asks for a danish.

previously I posted a message saying don't bother responding to Tomlondon AKA Tomtit as he feeds of each publisher and he deliberately tries to antagonise, however i have changed my mind. I have come to realise that everyone needs to have a laugh and have someone or something to poke fun at and he is your man. If he ever does get under your skin all you need to think about is here is a lonely sole, who sits in his rented flat living off the state with nothing and no one apart from his post buddies, he lives in a world that would shame Billy Liar. I am going to have fun with him, without even a hint of anamosity all i can ask you all to do is to join in and keep the moral high ground. If i was catholic I would say a little prayer for him and direct it to Saint Jude.

its a funny old world but whenever I put the name Tom in on a post, predicative text changes it to Tit, now how frustrating is that. Predictive text is far clever and insightful than i thought.

Hi Solley i can see why you would suggest the filter however the goal is to negate his impact without him moderating any of things we do naturally.

Dear all I really enjoy this site and the insightfulness from those who use it. Now it might be that a sensitive soul or perhaps I do not have the patience that i should have but I am getting more and more frustrated at the ridicoulous posts regarding one individual. Clearly he is feeding off each and everyone of you who respond and he will continue to do so. Why don't you all make a collective decision and simply ignore every single post he makes, he won't like that and eventually he will disappear. Clearly I have the option of simply not using this site and that would be a fair response, however i do value the vast majority of contributors and i want to continue to use your experience and insight. So please put Tom to bed.
