Please let me explain it to you. -
The hard working Oil company producing from UK waters has 35% of it's profit Stolen by robbers who in the old days wore masks. But in these times they don't bother, indeed they will even tell you their names. This stolen profit money they will keep. However out of kindness, they will let you have 92% of the stolen money back if you invest more in UK waters. You only get a % of the stolen money back. This helps you to produce a little more for them to steal at a later date.
Now do you get it ?

OPEC have a meeting on 4th January. i.e. next week. The meeting is via video but they will discuss ALL topics, including the oil price. I have included a link below which gives dates of OPEC meetings for 2023 - Both face-to-face and virtual meetings.

But just to add - Volatility and the Algo rythms always go "A Little Wild" at this time of year. I have seen this sort of thing every Christmas for the last 11 years I have held stocks.
Some like to "clear their decks" before year end , causing some selling. Some cash in on profits or part sell holdings to suit their own "books". At this time you often see more selling. However, I feel confident that the new year will bring the buyers back in numbers ! We are at a bargain price after all, so ripe for the pickings in the January Sales !

I'm sticking with 600m + fcf.
Enquest always have a high fcf for qtr4 and POO has only very recently gone sub 80. Indeed ENQ realised price for H1 was $89.

Fcf is more than a million a day, in fact it's nearly double that !
Look at half year results it was almost 2 million a day for the first 6 months of this year.
For 2022 revenue will be around 1.6 billion and FCF between 600 - 700 .
Let's not underplay Enquest please. The market is doing enough of that already.

For 2022 It was circa 45% of production. However at one point they were using them up quickly as they thought oil was going higher.
A good guess for December would a 33% or a Third of production.

With Brent at $76.12 this morning our Hedges at $77-78 are earning us a premium of around one dollar.
Never thought I would see our Hedges pay off in 2022.
I am shocked at the POO and our Share Price !

My wife and i have been in a "down trend" for years. She has been drawing trend lines over her eyes for years. I think she calls it eye liner. However the trend has thus been down, You could indeed call it a "falling knife". There was once a "head and shoulders" pattern but that went years ago. She is definately more a "wedge" pattern now, so I must agree with you as I see this too. Neverless, I remain positive and am very pleased to hear that we are entering an "up trend" period. i will run and tell the wife immidiately ! She will be pleased !
P.S. - Should I go buy her a Candle, to go with the coming positive uptrend ?

Looks like we were all smoking something when we set these forecasts. Those of us with 50p+ were obviously drinking as well. I'll include Pelle in that, even though his figure was 49.99.
What a shame, our forecasting is as bad as Barclays !!!!
