It's all a bit of guess work on 2022 EPL.
Was it Jeffries that has 14m for 2022 ? One of the Analysts anyway. I have circa 20m in my numbers, but as you say - A Small number not really impacting profits for this year.

Your 140m is way off.
Look profits for H2 we anticipate around 300m. 25% of that is only 75m and that's before we off-set any drilling /investment costs.

I think if Labour got into power then they would act differently.
Their objectives would be to remain in power by being popular. They then would have to ensure we have power, energy and fuel otherwise the population will turn against them. This means making sure we have North Sea Oil. At 70% Tax with NO investment exception, then producers would go elsewhere. Labour could not have that ! They would be in and out, quicker than Liz Truss. NO, Labour will do whatever it takes to hold onto power.

I think it will go the other way around though. 100m buy backs and 50m for dividends. They need to start divi's carefully. They won't want to reduce them a year or two later. I think they will start divi's carefully then build them with time and confidence.

I am not a troll as I have been invested. However this for me has always been a gamble. So, just a £4k grand that was invested here. For your interest I have £250k in an oil producer. I say it as I see it !
