Well I'm with "Jeffries" forecast Stumpy,
I believe that we will see 30p in the coming weeks . Fundermentals will Trump technicals as we go forward. At some point the market will have to re-evaluate what valuation it gives us. All the while Brent is over $80 we are adding value and reducing debt. 2023 will see our debt ratio target of 0 5 achieved and then it gets really interesting. Our revenue for 2022 should exceed 1.6B, I think that gets us into the ftse 250/350. The funds then will come ! Never mind BTFATH1's new golf club or restaurant booking, I am expecting a 5 star Cruising holiday for 2024 on Enquest.

US api data, just released. A huge draw this week of 7.85m .
Should help oil price overnight. Let's see what EIA data is tomorrow afternoon.

Open higher as POO up nearly $3 since yesterday's close.

I believe when Covid has finished with China then we will see $100 oil again as world demand exceeds 100m bpd again and supply only manages to produce 95m bpd. We still have a massive under investment in new oil which is not going to replace natural declines/depletion. I do see $100+ oil again in 2023. IMHO of course.

OPEC see's POO fall lower than when they cut production last time. Highly likely they will have to Cut production again. Maybe a real cut this time. At least 1m bpd I think.
Jeremy Hunt under pressure from own MP's. Those MP's with Knowledge of the oil market and UK oil production are telling him that his actions will destroy UK North sea oil production for the future.
Europe in a mess with the Russian oil cap. Greece wants 65 to 70 but Poland will not agree to this. Says it actually gives Russia more revenue than they get now ! Poland wants 50 tops. Ukraine wants 30. Without a deal Russian oil stops flowing to Europe and most others as difficult to transport/insure.
Loads more volatility to come, BTFATH1 must be jumping with joy as he will be able to afford another family fish and chip supper in Lowerstoft !

Jeff Currie at Goldman Sachs is forecasting $115 Wti oil in late QTR1 2023 as China demand comes back and further "depletion" occurs in world oil supply due to lack of investment in "new oil" over the last 10 years.
He is not alone in forecasting $100+ POO during H! 2023. Things have just got a bit delayed (mostly due to China ).
It's just like our debt ratio of 0.5. The EPL has put it back a month or two !

2022 final results we will likely see "earnings per share" for the year of 2022 - higher than the share price (valuation) of the company. What a crazy market.

Like you I have circa 20m for this year and 100m to 150m max for 2023, at current levels of POO.

Production levels will be key for tomorrow. We had maintenance shut downs during QTR3. However well improvements could offset this. Looking for close to the 50k bpd level. They will not disclose profit numbers but could give an update on current net debt figure. Hoping for a very positive update and a "repairer spike" ( which is a rise of 10% or more ). KO will know what this all means. Hope you and the family are all well KO . Fingers crossed for a big day tomorrow.

The market is being stupid. It does not matter what the price cap is, because Putin will not sell oil to any country involved in the cap. China and India will still buy oil from Russia anyway ! The only real problems they may have will be in February when the shipping insurance ban kicks-in . Have I missed something ?

At the end of H1 net debt was down to 850m. We were told in an RNS that net was down to exactly 750m at the end of Sept QTR3.
Now we have historically produced more fcf in QTR4 than we do in QTR3. I guess the summer maintenance shut downs and workovers have a lot to do with why this is so.
Therefore as we reduced net debt by exactly 100m in QTR3, I am expecting this 100m reduction to be the minimum for QTR4.
So expecting net debt to be below 650m on 31st December 2022. Could even be as low as 600m. Debt ratio 0.6 at year end with AB's target of 0.5 being hit in QTR1 2023. Will they then announce dividends ? My gu3ss is they will !

We actually hit it yesterday. Double bottom is in. That's why we see POO climbing.

Brent just turned positive for the day at 87.63.
Our SP should "gap-up" at least a penny on the open tomorrow, if Brent holds these levels.

I have been January then January1, January2 and now January24.
Total posts prob around 10,000 in about 12 years. I have had to change My avatar for technical reasons. Or should I say a lack of technical knowledge on my part. Forgetting passwords etc etc.
My latest avatar January24 is the date of my birthday. My next birthday January 24th 2023 I will be 60 . My first share purchase was in 2009 about a year before I started posting here. It was Barclays and did well. About 2015 was my first purchase of ENQ shares.

No, I think you will find it is 25% until the year end, 31st December 2022.
Then 35% level only begins from 1st January 2023.
Only a nominal payment will be due for 2022, which gives us a little more time to smash down the debt further !
