The maths does not work on your last post .
Look, in 20 years there are 20 February's.
1 Feb = 5%
2 Febs = 10 %
3 Febs = 15%
4 febs = 20%

Hoe do you get 18% ? You can't have a fraction of a month in a year. A month is a month !

We seem to be taking our time down here at this 20p level. I guess the chartists would say that we are "filling the gap", However we are taking a long time doing it. I suppose it's comforting to know that this hole is going to be truly filled in.

Need a dividend payment to keep me going, so I will not have to sell any shares.

Shell's results out today show they have a market cap 4x their annual profit. I guess this will get even bigger as they are likely to see a further rise off the back of their results. They pay a dividend and are ftse 100, low risk.
We at Enquest have a market cap around just 1x annual profit . We are perceived at a higher risk. This is why must AB must NOW start dividends and share buy backs. I repeat that this needs to start now - other wise why buy Enquest ? Why take the higher risk with no shareholder benefits when you can get a low risk Giant Oil producer doing so well and valued more fairly !
Come on AB we need some action on share holder returns.

You have not been here that long otherwise past history would have reminded you that when Enquest goes on a "roll" the outcome can be a doubling of the share price in around 6 weeks. We just need the catalyst!
Us LTH have seen it before. The markets tends to overshoot on the way up and on the way down. I am expecting 40p to be hit this year. We may then settle back in the 30's, however I see the yearly high way above your figure. Assuming good news and POO helping too.

I thought Jonathan Sweeney had left Enquest to join Tullow during September 2022. However there are no reports of him joining, indeed they announced another person as their CFO late last year ! Anyone know what happened ?
I thought JS was a good guy and helped ENQ through the tough times.

Been reading about increases in trader net long positions over the last couple weeks. Brent looks like it could be heading back into the 90's soon. Could tie in nicely with our update. We must be due some good fortune surely ?
The next few months must see a change in our valuation. Being honest, I'm not sure I can go on waiting too much longer.
If we are not over 30p by the AGM then I will move on.

I do agree that the climate is changing.
However that has always been so, even before humans walked the earth. The climate will always change as per the earths history of having periods of tropical climate and periods of ice age. The climate changes as it moves from one extreme and back again to the other. This has happened for millions of years. This can't be stopped !
Some may argue that we are adding to a move torwards a more tropical climate again, due to human Co2 emmitions. This would naturally happen anyway though,as per history of the earth.
"But the pace of change has been accelerated due to humans", I here you cry ! - From memory reading articles, human Co2 emmitions peaked in the 70's and 80's. We have reduced our emmitions and are continuing to do so.
We must however be very careful not to reduce emmisions at such a fast rate that we destroy the world's energy supplies and thus cause famine, world war and millions of deaths through starvation and hunger. This could be a lot worse for mankind than what path we tred today !

The energy crisis is not really encouraging the US shale boys to "drill baby drill". I think they are more of "divis, divis, divis baby". Return to shareholders !
