How can inflation be transitory!.
This can only be the case if assets are rising but in a world when the one asset most people pay over half there wages for is falling that’s a dangerous scenario. House prices falling is only a bonus for new or first times buyers with huge savings who will pick up the same assets at distressed prices. Over a period of a 10 year cycle the prices will rise again but not in current environment.
A person buys a house at 1.5% interest rates and then has to remortgage at 6% currently.
The asset may fall upto 10-20% depending.
A huge debt to be serviced at huge extra cost only to realise it’s worth less,
Sorry inflation is not transitory for that person it’s more like a burden
