Imagine claiming non dim status and living in no 10. What next. It’s beyond beggars belief and surely when others are struggling to afford there’s homes and pay the mortgage bills we have a non dom living in no 10 at tax payers expense and special protection.

Sorry but predicted fall the share price stands. House builders face massive headwinds and mortgage affordability will dry up and lead to a huge slowdown. It’s not as bad as it seems though because demand for materials will also slow which will drop inflation. Also an expected drop in gas prices will help inflation fall. But short term expect fireworks

Just thought I would talk about the charts. MHC is at a critical point on the one year chart. The reason I point this out is because we have moved up to to meet the one year downtrend and if we move through the resistance we are at now then the upside is massive and will be rapid because automatic buys will be triggered. I noticed a 200 and 600,000 buy at the end so will be interesting to see if momentum follows through tomorrow.
However if we don’t continue the rise and smash todays finish price then it will fall back to lows again.
I personally don’t see the second scenario playing out because momentum buying is building and also good news could land anytime soon to push things upwards.
Also we are forgetting Covid us rising and causing move deaths than ever and winter is a time when Covid is strongest which will show in revenue and regain profits.
I strongly see an update coming

The chart said it all. At 36-37p it was crucial it turned around and it did otherwise it could have been painful. Albert Elliss joining the board at HRNET and Henry Spain mopping up was the biggest giveaway something was happening. I strongly suspect the results will be good and a takeover on the cards

It’s ready to fly. 3 year and 5 year all met and it’s broke to the upside as I predicted. Heavy volume to follow

The problem is still the spread. We need the selling price to tick up but we need momentum and more buyers. This needs good news so I’m hoping that will land soon and we keep heading North. Surely a higher share price is in the companies interest!

The news just keeps getting worse for house builders and they will definitely need to react and Dividends will be first to be cut.

It may look to be moving up nicely to you but given that it Hasn’t fallen is good news because I was fearful we would head back down to the 5 year lows. If we were to take out 1.9p then this would be a huge move. I personally would like to see a good update to help the positive move. Surely we are overdue news regarding retail agreements etc

As I’ve been saying landlords will flood the market if they not able to make a viable business. They won’t buy any new builds off plan due to affordability and prices of property will fall. Great for first time buyers you would think. Well no not really because monthly payments have increased dramatically due to interest rate rises. Also house builders have to pay the wage costs and materials not falling but the price are and expected to fall!. Yes the house builders will be hit as landlords clear the properties costing too much and not viable. Then there’s a bigger problem because tenants will be charged more for the few properties available from landlords. Also government figures of 300,000 mean nothing when they can’t meet them anyway and no buyers for end product.
Sorry it’s a reality of a scenario and Dividends will be sacrificed as in 2020 when Covid struck hope I’m wrong but only government and change in macro economics can stop the inevitable and house builders will definitely suffer in months ahead

I’ve been quite impressed with the recent rally given mortgage rates are still heading North. I’ve been saying my thoughts for a long time but still Hoping I’m wrong for benefit of investors.
If the government can find a solution to control inflation and interest stabilise then Taylor Wimpy could be cheap at these prices but the risk of Dividends being cut is growing. If a crash comes people will want bigger discounts to entice them and margins will be hit.
Market sentiment can change rapidly however depending on data that changes daily. I really do want this to keep rising and interest rates to fall but in reality the only control for inflation is higher interest rates and that my concern for Taylor Wimpy.
Rishi needs to take sensible measures and remember building is the blood of the economy but cutting the supply of blood will kill the vein. Tax the companies not paying in Uk a the problem is solved in a fair way and general public will restore trust in the government. Unfortunately he’s not brave enough so the public will continue to pay the price which will kill the housing market due to affordability.

Start with non dom changes and tax the likes of Amazon, Costa coffee and Mc Donald’s and energy companies and leave ordinary people able to buy their homes. Time for change to support ordinary people and think ordinary and stop putting his cap on to appeal to stock market traders vote. The country’s debt can be bought down without huge pain for many at the greed of the few. I suspect Rishi will do nothing new
