I would agree usually but I can’t think of a time with so many headwinds at once. The UK depends on housing to keep the economy growing. Plumbers, electricians, carpenters, plasterers, bricklayers and so on all depend on the housing market. Many ordinary families will be effected in this down turn and I struggle to see the solution until inflationary pressures peak.
I do see acquisitions in the house builders sector.
The government are to blame for giving free non means tested away in lockdown which was always going to inflationary. People spent money they never had to work for. Did we all really think it wouldn’t be a long term problem. Well we see the effects now and it’s painful to many.
