He Said he bought and sold because of the shares support and resistance points, not really fundamental points, as I've said before I bought at £9.25p last year and to be honest I was selling up at £3.55p until TB kept insisting one day we will get to £8.20p the brokers targets , believe me he saved me a fortune , he also made me really enthusiastic about burford ,

Yes thank you ffcmember for that good information in your post, that's so important, I went back and checked TB post and he actually sold at £5.78p but he says he sold his remaining shares which were all profit ones, I wonder did he make a fortune there ? If he ever looks in here again I just want to personally thank him for saving me a lot of money, there's probably a lot more out there just like me, a big thanks Thomas Browne from me.

I listened to the webcast and I thought Bogart was excellent at answering all the questions, he always seems very competent , but do you know what crossed my mind halfway through, if only be had of sounded half as enthusiastic as Thomas Browne when talking about burford then the shares might not have fallen afterwards. They would probably have soared LOL. I actually wanted someone to inspire me to hold onto the shares instaid I felt a bit deflated afterwards, or was that just me.
I'm with all the other bring Thomas back brigade, though it doesn't look like he's coming back, so maybe he will just be a really good memory for most of us all. Honestly he saved me a small fortune.

Gtx.. When you first posted to this board you were thanking your alterego from persuading you from not selling your £9 average holding. It will be there for everyone to see.

If you'd hung on you'd have been at 107% profit today. It's still a nice return you've secured but I'm guessing the funds have been ploughed into something else that also can either go up or down. I'm thinking this can bag a number of times again from here with continued strong momentum from RBL, a good deal flow from Convex and then those profits being further compounded by Lionfish. Then there's also the significant fee earning potential of the historic contingent RBL cases due soon, possibly worth not far off today's market cap alone. These haven't been mentioned by IC or the house broker. I look forward to the results due next week and are hopefull of future earning upgrades from market commentators. Hopefully Nicky can surpass her last achievement of 8 bags before any retirement!

Reasonable volume at 321,131 too. Would be good if a new II was taking an interest after digesting the results. I'm not going to say I think the downtrend has reversed as know only to well how quickly momentum can turn. Your right, I did sell and are glad that I did as the scenario I envisaged is coming to pass. There was a time however I did see good in MANO, and Cooklin, but have since changed my view. The joke of the FD buy, followed almost immediately by the CEO's large sell rose suspicions as to the company's conduct. The narrative given that he had to sell due to the Suadi buyer also didn't ring true. How many institutions had sold prior? How many shares were sold after, and by whom? I think holders should do the maths. Follow what the directors do, not what they say. Knowing that there are further delays with an end not realistically insight, will Cooklin can sell again? There must only be another month or so before he is free to do so again.

But will it be extended again? How many more times will the date be pushed back? I don't think there is anymore certianty. Also when the protection is removed, how many more months will it be until the IP's uncover any wrong doing and pass up their small cases for MANO to fund? It could well be another couple of years before we see EPS back to historic levels again. Patrick Maloney of LIT made some pertinent points in their last update that all holders here should take note of

The two CEO's came together after having both failed separately previously, according to an interview I saw. I will continue to hold as the business is in the right place at the right time, but it has to be said it would be a better opportunity without the current CEOs at the helm.

Interesting post. I'm not sure however that I follow your thinking in that the transfer would transform Argentina from a net importer to a net exporter. Why would would this be?
