Mano may well fall back to that level due to lack of cases and refferal lag. Why has this though got anything to do with your poor decision making record?

Quite bizarre but they don't have the best record. September last year they were advising all that they were selling a large position in RBGP at 62p due to the business being flawed. It's now near 140p (and still not reached anywhere near fair value imo). I believe they have also lost a lot in MANO. As always, best to do your own research and take the views of others as entertainment.

Finished on $12.97 with 560,666 traded - 3rd highest US volume. Let's hope it bodes well for tomorrow.

I can't imagine it's Cooklin selling, we'd have seen a £500 buy from the FD a couple of days prior!

Total trader - I'm in BUR and LIT and agree some degree of faith required as all can really do is form opinion on historic IRRs, ROIC and past deployments. We're waxing lyrical though about a hole in the ground that we can't quantify for ourselves either. A degree of trust is required for all businesses. RBGP is much more though than a litigation funder; 2 law firms, M&A House and a litigation funder. Not forget potential mcap in for free with contingent case fees which aren't considered by ST or house broker. Well worth an eye ball but if any questions I'll gladly attempt to assist on that board. On THS I can confirm buys going through as sells as had a further top up for my isa that went through below the mid-price.

Rbgp is a cracker. You need to look at fundermental changes rather than the chart though as already risen considerably. ST has just upgraded target to 175p.

Everyone who follow the share should have known the results - These were the past and the position communicated. It is the future that is of interest and a glimpse is available via the previous trading statement. It was a missed opportunity not to give guidance today but the presentation Webinar gives promise. I won't be selling and will look to add on further weekness - the US will be huge and allow greater profitability than achieved historically

I'd offer the use of book value taking account of historic IRRs as a better valuation tool than PE due to the nature of the business and lumpy returns. How exactly I don't know! Hopefully the opportunity is becoming clear to Mr Market and the last couple of weeks suggest this might be the case. I'm still unsure as to the exact catalyst but think it will become clear in time. TWT - I guess but you need spare funds to do that and a forgiving attitude risk. So not an option available to all. I think Rar posts on here too, under Amica1 - Could be wrong but a high probability

That's great and I'm sure all post MW are very happy. Remember though that PI's pre MW paid multiples of today's price. Institutions where paying £18 per share for significant checks, that said I do feel less for them than the PI's who were robbed. Hopefully for all concerned this will get back to those heights soon.

Quite. Previously, post MW all spikes to my recollection have come about in anticipation of results or impact of the US listing. We haven't got that impetus at the moment so it's either the US finalking becoming aware of the opportunity and the thesis that Youonly posted may back this up, or there maybe YPF movement. It could also have been the Temur case although I doubt it as the fees won't really move the needle, although it should create greater awareness of Burford and the industry allowing David to take on golioth, so long as the case has merit. I think this could be the time for a substantial move, but then I've thought that on a few occasions before!!! 9.80 is the high post MW so still room there. All the best

Thankfully a non holder on the other board got a much more positive impression than yourself TWT. I missed it but will hopefully locate it tomorrow. The US SP isn't going so well tonight, I thought we held up well though today considering the recent rises and the general negatively in the markets today. Only RBGP for me was up (and nicely) today and heavy falls pretty much everywhere else. Both Saga and my recent Ncyt badly down - I would have thought one would have been a hedge against the other!

Hi Sammy, I don't want to say breakout as I've got excited and then quickly deflated many times before here. However, previous significant rises have alway preceded results or the NYSE listing, this seems different and I can't determine the driver. If it is a YPF development we could easily see a double in SP. Unfortunately or fortunately I'm fully invested and have some strong holds that I won't divest from to add to an already overweight holding. I need to be strong and remain disaplined (if that applies when holding 25% of portfolio in a single holding), but wouldn't be supprised if something is afoot. Gl all

Anyway, moving on- A great day and past week here for patient holders. Hopefully it will long continue. I'm not sure as to the reason. Is it the recent equity raise that has put it on the radar of a US fund or II, or is there something going on with YPF? Or any other ideas? I think both of my suggestions would allow the climb to continue, with an obvious preference towards the later. Well done to the LTHs
