The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
ARBK up 6% pushing 69p.
Topped up at 0.475. Gotta be cheap at this price. Any reason why CARD won't continue to draw down debt accumulated through covid at the rate they have so far?
I don't want to be spending on rebrand. What about IG energy? We could do that with some tipex.
Potential moto -IG - taking the as(s) out of IGAS...?
US are waking up (literally) to cheap bitcoin and gobbling it up. $38.7k.
Yeah Danno, this is looking good - going like a train on very little volume. Could really take off with some positive news. Looks like someone buying in chunks today, although recorded as sales here, it's clear from the spread they are buys.
Pennylots - I see Igas a self funding energy transition play. There are many startups with exciting prospects, but they are too much risk for me as many have little income, could require significant funding and may not turn out to be the answer. Igas's core business is performing fine, and they have done well to reinvent themselves after getting fingers burned in fracking moratorium and straighten up their balance sheet. Lots of scenarios where this could take off and I can't forsee too many where they tank significantly so it's a good hold for me.
Started buying around £1.14. Current Average £0.83. I wanted some crypto exposure, but somehow this has turned into my biggest holding. The fact that bitcoin exchanges run 24/7 is not good for my health! GLA
Pleasantly surprised with the SP today given Bitcoin's movement overnight. Bodes well for ability to catch the wave on the next surge (Fingers crossed).
ARBK nearing 10% up today.
Bitcoin robust overnight and intel news taking time for investors to realise value and significance. GLA
Is ‘Putting’ invading your local crazy golf course?
Muck - I sincerely hope we made enough profit to trigger a windfall tax, but I doubt it.
Some more rumblings about challenging the fracking moratorium which can do Igas no harm: https://www.morningstar.co.uk/uk/news/AN_1644747339812378900/frost-leads-tory-revolt-against-uk-governments-fracking-ban.aspx
Who cares who the best miner is? Argo are currently the most undervalued so therefore have the best short/medium term potential. DYOR.
ARB should be higher now. ARBK closed at around £0.825 yesterday and Bitcoin is sitting higher now and banging its head on $45k. I suspect that Bitcoin will push through $45k once Nasdaq opens. It has settled into a trend of rising through their working day and tailing off into the evening and through the night.
Wow - just topsliced at 75p. Hadn't expected quite as rapid a recovery, but this looks great.
Yes - but my point is that ARB is down less than most since Bitcoin peaked. Change the timeframe and the winners/losers all change places so narrowing measure to a single timeframe is prejudicial and narrow.
Who chose the 24th for this comparison and why? Agenda?
CLSK $21.42 12 Nov Today $8.34
Down 61%!!
Bitcoin peaked 12 Nov
12 Nov ARB = 1.44 Today = 80.5 Today =0.805
12 Nov RIOT = 44.19 today = 19.65
Riot is down 55.5% Arb down 44%
Not trying to knock RIOT - simply showing how it is easy to choose a couple of stats to suit your narrative/agenda.
Fireblade. CLSK look healthy to me and they are an interesting comparison with their selling to fund growth strategy. If Bitcoin hits $100k+, would you not prefer to have a large hodl? Lets be honest potential huge rises in bitcoin are why we are all here. ARB have a 50% higher cap but 500% hodl. We all know that funding expansion is the big exposure here and CLSK have provided a potential route to follow but I would much prefer an approach where we protect most/all of the hodl as in many months to come I hope that hodl appreciation will earn more than mining.
83p Nasdaq close. Need bitcoin to hold up, or even better- blast through $45k overnight.
