As predicted, licence extension dependent upon the rig contract, rig contract dependent upon finances/JV with an extended timeline to 1st half of 2024. However, we are currently at a very advanced stage of negotiations on the rig contract and so we hope this will be concluded soon. Have we heard this before?

Company's interim accounts are due later this week which will include JA statement along the lines that the PM of Cameroon has written to confirm that the renewal of the licence is to be expedited, talks continuing with banks and Rig owners and drilling likely in Q blah blah of blah blah year.
