its a sale of balance of the placing shares. now we can move upwards. overhang cleared
until the overhang from placing is cleared this is going no where.
meanwhile there are at least another 15-20 million shares overhang from the placing left over.
I will be amazed if we do not hear anything by close tomorrow.
Absolutely true.
that is the price you pay for settling debts via confetti, a trademark of GL. Nothing wrong in PF disposing shares to get cash and what better time when there is demand. One should be thanking PF for accepting confetti to bail out the company from GLs incompetence.
he has said that discussions for additional finance are ongoing. we all know $18 million is needed. Placing will bring in $6 million and bank has agreed to provide $8 million. There is a shortfall of $4 million and the RNS has said that they may seek more from the bank or seek a mixture of alternative finance.
Nothing to do with MMs. There was massive sells yesterday with some late buying. Sells exceeded buys by a mile. Today some scrappy buying/bottom fishing amounting to pea nuts.
The company has stated very clearly and categorically that there will be no placing except for an acquisition. So pray there is none as the BOD can barely manage one asset at a time.
The cleaning operation is an imperative as we do not want any pollutants entering the plant. a few more days makes no difference for the sake of safety and efficiency.
Let the £££s do the talking and they are imminent.
As far doom and gloom merchants are concerned, filter or ignore them.
Push 2- Some people just remain in denial and reject the obvious .
Its a matter of When !! any day now.
Chunky sells going through.
someone spent £2 in buying 1311 shares!!! Absolutely mad.
The share price should be doubling from here once the second compressor goes live. its a question of when and not if. the "clean up" will take whatever time it takes but will be done this month. the merchants of doom and gloom will be out in force as always .Just ignore them. GLA
Come next month, SFBY will be cash cow with a real possibility of being a "storage facility" in the future. That in my books is worth £500 million . Who knows some medium size company may take an interest. People forget that hedge has an expiry date!!! Gas prices are not coming down. One off events , like mild winter and USA releasing stocks, made the prices manageable. USA does not possess infinite stock and with very little investment for the past few years in the sector, the price will go up.
The company has secured the bank loan and placing funds to exploit Cameroon. The funds from these two sources are not enough and discussions are taking place for additional finance to make the "drilling" happen. The triggering of fee shares for the placing suggest that the final additional funding may happen soon.
The company has clearly said "expect the clean-up to take several days before we reach the final deliverability.
Connection to the plant for gas processing and export is planned directly after the clean-up and we expect to realise the combined flow rates of all three wells later in the month." I think we are looking towards mid month for all three wells producing but would love to see it earlier.
The important thing is that the side track is a success and will be flowing £££s which will do the talking. Revenues per year from gas alone from all 3 wells should exceed £32 million with an additional £5 million from condensate. Assume £5 million overheads for the entire year leaving a tax free profit of £30 million.
The triggering of warrants would bring in £7.5 million and the free cashflow of £2.5 million a month will wipe out the debt in late summer. Moreover, the move to profit will trigger the release of deferred tax asset which is massive .
The accounting for hedge is just that. A book entry recognising a profit/loss on an insurance policy to ensure guaranteed price for the commodity the company is selling.
Everything about this company is se to change VERY POSITIVELY this month. The spring in the share price will be noticeable and its a question of when and not if. And the WHEN is this month any day now. Good luck all.
Earl and money munch are equally boring but the game on financing is not ended. There is no confirmation either way which suggest that discussions are ongoing. When will these come to a conclusion , nobody knows. But 100% they will conclude.
The value of SFB is not just the gas worth £500 million but also its use as a massive storage facility in the future with lost of the apparatus already set up. Big companies are investing Billion plus in such projects!!! Angus should be exploiting SFB to full capacity before embarking upon anything else.
LOL. you just cant make this up. Bid for SFB!!!!
Barchart opinion turning positive if you are into that.
