@Medjed Sorry I mis-read Wood's RNS which is not entirely 100% clear (typical of Wood). I think you're right...last trading day tomorrow Wednesday 30 April. Then Wood in suspension from 7am on Thursday 1 May.

Volitle trading day tomorrow as shorts close...surely the shorts would not be dumb enough to carry their short position into suspension With Sidara ready, able and willing to buy all of Wood for cash?! Lol

@applebee I expect Wood's RNS at 7am tomorrow to say:

'The listing and trading of Wood Ordinary Shares on the London Stock Exchange's main market for listed securities were suspended with effect from 7.00 a.m. today, 30 April 2025.'

Lets' see if the same RNS will include any futrher updates on other key matters.

@AimMaster. I take that back. You ought to have bought early AM .173p and could have sold last this afternoon for more than 1p. Better still...hold through suspension and reap the rewards. One day AimMaster will listen to JO...one day. Lol

£74K, here, £40K there helps to push the Wood stock price higher today...

However, all of this is nothing compared to the Sidara bid of a minimum 35p. Enter another bidder while in suspension, and the Wood share price enters more realistic territory.

Not many investors realise the huge upside here with minimal risk.

It is clear from Wood's own RNS' that Wood is for sale to the highest bidder.

@Lightnoheat Apollo are on the sidelines now. Like a lion stalking its prey...waiting, watching, ready to pounce at just the right moment! Sidara think they have Wood in the bag...but for a mere 35p, I do not share their confidence. It ain't over till...well you now the rest! Lol

@Lightnoheat Shorts (includes AimMaster) should have listened when I said (about a week prior) that they had to close theor positions on Friday 25 April. That was clearly the best day to close. It was certainly the best day to buy/add to anyone with balls of steel who want to enter suspension! Lol

@AimMaster You could have gone long. You could have bought early AM today at .173p today and sold late this afternoon at .183p. An easy 1p profit today. Now you have to wait for Wood to come out of suspension - unless Wood sells to Sidara or another bidder while inside of suspension imho.

@Bob If the deal with Sidara does not complete. Wood's chair ought to take inspiration from Mobico's recent situation and sack the CEO for poor leadership and management, poor communications with shareholders and stakeholders, and for leading shareholders, lenders, and employees down the garden path for sooooo long.

@Bob If for some reason the Sidara deal does not proceed, then Wood will restructure and come out of suspension much stronger than when it entered. Cruicially, Wood's sales pipeline and order book is strong, sales revenue is strong. The company can be restructured with the right executive leadership and management in place (which is sadly lacking at the moment).

Wood share price pushed down early AM today to flush out any nervous investors. Now the smart money has started to invest late this afternoon as Wood is in blue.

Although the super-smart money had already bought/topped up on Friday last week at the extreme lows! Lol

@Bob Don't worry - you will recieve the boost when the Wood stock is in suspension via Sidara's offer(s) to buy...and/or another bidder entering the fray! Lol

@SG2025 So it looks like (reading the tea-leaves) that you are invested as you think Wood will reject the Sidara offer, and restructure over time. Is that a fair summary?

@FF Sidara cannot offer less than 35p as it will not be recommended by BOD or accepted by institutional investors. Sidara may have to increase to 40-45p to ensure it can close the deal. SIdara have to watch out for another bidder who may enter the ballpark while in suspencion. Far more to come from the Wood story yet...

@SG2025 I do not intend to critisize - everyone invests for their own reasons. Do you share IceCool's thoughts that the institutional investors will throw the board out and that a new board will re-structure Wood?
