That is not how it works Icecool. Wood's lenders' waivers would have been granted/agreed days prior to today. Trust me on this.

Interestingly, Wood's lenders have extended the debt waivers to 30 June 2025.

This provides us with an indication that Wood's lenders may have ben led to believe that Wood's audited accounts ought to be ready by then. And/or Sidara offer made. And/or further non-core businesses/assets identified for sale.

Of course the question is, will Wood publish their audited accounts for 2025, or firstly provide the DRAFT audited accounts for 2025 (i.e. completed but not signed off) to Sidara first to assess and make their formal offer prior to publication of audited accounts. This ought to be ruled out, as Wood 'should' publish audited accounts for 2025 when available...but this is Wood, anything can happen.

RNS tomorrow to confirm Wood shares suspended.

@Stew200 AimMaster is a watcher not a doer. Not a serious investor, just an opportunist who takes a punt on a few pennies here and there. AimMaster has no skin in the game and will watch, hoping for Wood to fail, so she can say 'Told you so' to a bunch of random posters with names like Icecool, BeardedDragon, Broomstick (or was that Broomtree). Very sad...but true. Lol

If AimMaster was sure Wood would fail, she would have held a short position throughout suspension. AImMaster did not do this and instead closed her short. Enough said.

@Icecool As prepdicted, the Wood debt waivers have been approved by Wood's lenders. It was always 100% gauranteed. All that was required was to dot the i's and cross the t's and release on the final day i.e. today 30 April 2025.

RNS tomorrow ahead of suspension and update on debt waiver, Sidara talks etc.

Or Thursday 1 May to confirm suspension and AOB.

Ready for another Wood roller-coaster ride! The biggest of them all: Up, down, twist and turn...not for anyone with motion sickness or heart problems! Lol

@AimMaster Where were you today? You could have gone long. You could have bought early AM today at .173p today and sold late this afternoon at .193p. An easy 2p profit today to be made for an 'expert' 'in and out' 'pump and dump' or 'dump and pump' trader like yourself imho.

Tomorrow's Wood share patten will likely follow suit i.e. the shorts will likely attempt to dump the Wood share AM tomorrow (to flush out any nervous shareholders), and then close their positions late tomorrow afternoon. So you can join the party. Easy profit imho.

If you do not trade tomorrow, you have to wait for Wood to come out of suspension - unless Wood sells to Sidara or another bidder while inside of suspension - in which case you would have lost out again imho.

@Carrot The reason I mentioned there should be an RNS 7am tomorrow with an update - is that it would be good practise to do so i.e. in order to keep shareholders up to date prior to suspension. That said, this is Wood...not sure that the terms 'Wood' and 'good practise' go together...!

Those who want to follow Wood into suspension are already invested and will hold shares.

I am happy to remain invested in Wood throughout suspension. It's far better to be on the inside, than watch from the action from the sidelines...may as well watch from the moon! Lol

@Lamdowner Given yu seen to be able to call the 'obvious' pump and dump (always after the event coincidently), why don't you buy early AM and sell late afternoon? Are you just another sideline watcher? You remind me of an arm-chair footballer...full of advice while watching the football in slow-motion replay. Lol

@Rock8 IceCool called the incorrect date based on Wood's own RNS, which was a little unclear...a few others (myself included) made the same mistake. The rest of what IceCool said was correct. To confirm, if Wood does not publish audited accounts on 30 April, then Wood will be in suspension from 1 May until such time Wood published said accounts.

@Axel Sidara has remained at the Wood table throughout Wood's series of car-crash RNS' of late. Sidara has been in joint discussions with Wood's lenders. Wood is 'minded to accept' Sidara's offer with conditions. Further, if Sidara has walked then Wood would need to announce. So far no announcement. Summary: Sidarra wants to buy Wood...now its all about the price, which will be negotiated through suspension then recommended by the Wood board who are 'minded to accept', then put to the Wood shareholders for a vote.

The risk here is minimal, especially at a mere 18p. The upside - minimum 35p - is massive.

@johnnychainlocker Like many here I don't have time to sit and research all and sundry on every stock I own, which is literally a few dozen stocks. I read the Wood RNS and interpreted it as I stated. Within a few brief minutes I researched and it is clear that suspension applies from 1 May. Unlike you, I do not badger others here for information and to do my research for me. If I get it wrong, I'll own up to it and put it right, as I have just done.
