@Kandos While Labour continue to tax companies with operations in the North Sea at a ridiculous 78% tax (!!!) very little will happen in the North Sea. It is a wasted resource that has virtually been taxed to extinction. You have not addressed whether or not other alternative energies are 'a net drain on the public purse'...aka wind farms...that do not work when there is no wind, and stop working when the wind blows too hard Lol

Institutional Investors will wait for Wood's revised and audited accounts to be published. Then vote accordingly. End of.

Watching Trump talking about North Sea oil over taxed and that Aberdeen is missing out. Will Labour change policyt and kick-start the economy with cheaper oil and gas. If so, Wood will be one of the beneficiaries as production kicks off. Of course, this is Labour with its anti-business policies - so don't hold your breath! The quicker Labour is out the better!

Watching Trump's address to UN. In brief: Trump has made it clear Europe shoud not be buying oil and gas from Russia who is at war with Ukraine. Trump said he will talk to European leaders at the end of his speech about US supplying oil and gas. I have no doubt that this is long overdue and it will happen, and a beneficiary of this will be Zephyr. Now, let's see if Zephyr starts production ASAP to supply and help satisfy this new demand...

My advice is to wait until the audied accounts are released prior to the end of October. Then vote. To do otherwise is to vote blind. To vote blind is dumb.

Let's play this out briefly...

The devil may or may not be in the audited accounts. For JO, I plan to: If the accounts are terrible then vote 'Yes' as 30p is better than 25p (i.e. Sidara's revised offer on bad accounts). If the accounts are OK/acceptable then vote 'No' as Sidara would have to revise its offer circa 40-45p. Another bidder enters the fray before/after audited accounts publisehed, then vote 'No' as a bidding war will commence between Sidara and the other bidder.

All IMO of course DYOR and all that.

Contrary to recent posts, I am struggling to see any meaningful upside in Zephyr's share price. I certainly will not add on no RNS/news. Maybe this week, CH will provide some sort of update. At the moment the silence is deafening!

It looks to me like Froggles is a 100% Labour supporter, his socialism ways of 'taking over Wood' as Chairman and this discsuuion board with his 'immediate shut down' of freedom of speech would make him fit right on in! @Chaiman Froggles I was arrested and went on trial AM today in front of the judge, such were the seriousness of the charges filed against me by you the self-proclaimed 'Chairman Froggles', and 'CEO Icecool' of the new Wood Plc. I pleaded Not Guilty and the judge agreed with me without hestitation...except for his uncontrolled laughter when he read that the charges were filed by plantiffs: 'FrogglesBoggles' and 'Icecool'! BTW The judge has issued a warrant for your arrest and that of Icecool for wasting the court's time. I heard that the Police were scanning the streets and CCTV footage across the UK, looking for anyone who could possible fit the description of a FroogleBoggle or an Icecool. So far the only suspects are Kermit the Frog, and Icey the Goldfish! Lol

@Adon30 I admire your optimism. Let's hope you are right. I have started to shift my position on Zephyr, but will wait until the next RNS to see which way the wind is blowing on this stock. Like @Papaduke, I too am concious that Christmas is only three months away and with it, the cold weather...and no doubt more 'delays'. Like Papaduke - who has been invested a while here - I too think if production is in the too 'hard' basket (we have has zero news on production since the tests were fully complete and the $100 million invested), then Zephyr wought to sell all or parts of the company to the highest bidder. It is unlikley as it stands that we will receive 10p per share, as the current share price is not even 3p per share and there is no 'proof of concept' in real time in terms of 'potential' converted to actual production.

I hope I am wrong, and the next RNS is full of detail - and production-orientated...or sale orientated. I will be happy either way.

A number of years back I invested in a stock that 'promised' alot, and never delivered...luckily I smelt a rat early enough, and sold out completely to escape with a small profit. Unfortunately, other investors were led up the garden path with promise after promise. My attitude then is as it is now: Once bitten, twice shy. Talk is cheap...action speaks louder than words.

Let's all hope for a decent RNS within the next 2 weeks.

Agreed. Wood has served up more self-goals than I've had hot dinners! And now it has run out of road with cashflow issues and very high debt. A rights issue would almost fully wipe out current shareholders. Unfortuantely, Wood is not Rolls Royce on a number of levels...if it was it would be a different story. Wood is more like Enron...and we know how that turned out!

Agreed i.e. if Sidara walk and the rights issue is on.

However, if this starts to trade again, I would hold tight as the Wood share price will increase. Sidara will buy as many as possible under 30p and shorts will buy to close their positions. In the meantime, another bidder could enter the game, which would drive the share price up big time. Still plenty to play for here. IMO
