JD Sports to be in line with market expectations. Decent free cash which allows more buybacks. JD Sports obviously think the share price is low, hence the buybacks, so an extention to recently announced share buyback could be on the cards. World Cup will kick off very soon. US-Iran negotiations close to finish. Plenty to play for here.

@Hoss13 Indeed. You know the old sayin'...'You snooze, you lose'. The time to buy/add significantly was yesterday and maybe 1-2 dips today. That said, anything less than 70p for JD Sports is still well and truely bargain territory. IMO

@StressedOut1 You got it wrong. Admit it. I posted two of my trades yesterday (£11,000 and £10,900), which totaled circa £20,000. You tried to call me out and say I made only one trade for £11,000 and 'where was the other £9,000'. Rather than admit you got it wrong, you become even more 'StressedOut' and resort to swear words. It is you who casts the stones and makes up the fairy tale narratives.

@StressedOut1 You are desperate now. I posted that after I made my first 2 trades that day of £11000 and £10900 (i.e. circa £20,0000) yesterday. FYI I added several more buys the same afternoon. You seem fixated with JO and my posts. Good to know I am living rent-free inside your head. Lol

@AimMaster aka AimStalker I call stocks as I see them. I do not have a short position in Mobico - and never have done. Unlike your 'good' self, I have never shorted stocks, and never will.

As mentioned previously, I sold 2 lump sums in Mobico a short while back in order to bank profit. I still have a holding in Mobico albeit much smaller than previously and am quite happy to keep that holding regardless of share price movements up or down. Had Mobico dropped to 19p I would have added substantially. It didn't drop that low, so I didn't add.

No need to worry about JO AimStalker - now off you pop back to the Capita discussion board where you are as useful and liked as an ashtray is on a motorbike.

As for the genuine Mobico investors here, a nice rise today on the back on US-Iran tensions easing...for now. GLA

You ought not to read posts directed at others - and then try to put your rather dull, meaningless and inaccurate stamp on them. Especially when you have a maths score of F.

@Smokeytime I owe you an apology. I thought you posted incorrect maths. However, it was @StressedOut1. Maths was never his strong point...he gets an F. You on the other hand have been much improved from last term...you get a D.

Word on the street is that the US and Iran are very, very close to final agreement and sign-off. It could be that over the next coming days, JD Sports investors will benefit from a double-whammy: JD Sports' results in line with market expectations, and boosted further by peace between US and Iran. IMO & GLA

One of my buys yesterday, which I posted here - was for £10,900 (I typed £11,000 for ease). Somehow, you worked out I purchased £20,000 in that trade...clearly maths is not your strong point.

@Garonne I sold out of Prudential (and most of my other investments at the same time) just before the US Iran war broke out. It’s all there on the Prudential discussion board.

Although I appreciate you had your reasons for not topping up on JD Sports yesterday, sometimes a stock price can be too low to ignore. Yesterday was such a day.

That said, JD Sports is currently up 6.5% today to .695p. Anything under 70p is still a decent bargain..IMO

@Garonne JD Sports is now up circa 5.5%so far today. Yesterday it dipped due to tensions in the US Iran war. I said yesterday, it is always darkest before the dawn. Hence I added yesterday several times circa £10,000 per buy. I even posted a couple of them on this discussion board. I hope you listened to JO and topped up on the stupid lows yesterday. A no brainer.

@deam As in the case with all investments- it all depends on your buy price. Buy low, sell high.

Given the current economic climate, if JD Sports results show targets are met more or less, then expect a positive swing upwards in share price. More the reason to add at these current lows.

@dwam Don't worry, JO is invested in JD SPorts now, so you can relax. JO loves a bargain. The upside on this stock from under 70p is very decent indeed. When sentiment shifts, it will rocket and you will wish you bought more at 66-69p. IMO & DYOR
