Share price movements27 Mar 2025 08:46
As I have said since Wood was first approached by Sidara with its expression of interest, the Wood share price will sit circa just under 40p.
Any Wood share price movement above or below the magic 40p is irrelevant. An increase or decrease of 5p here or there should make no material difference for the who want the big prize. Such movements need only concern for day traders.
The big prize awaits those who are patiently waiting for the Sidara cash offer to buy all of Wood, which is inevitable.
In the meantime any Wood share price movement is a storm in a tea cup.
We do not know which RNS comes first: Audited financials, Deloitte review, or Sidara offer recommended to shareholders.
Obviously Wood will make available the Deloitte review to Sidara under their due diligence process - possibly a draft copy, or largely (but not complete) copy, or findings to date or similar.
Therefore, Sidara could make (or confirm their offer which was subject to a satisfactory Deloitte review) and this offer is announced and recommended to shareholders via the RNS first.
This would make sense as Sidara would not want a satisfactory Deloitte review published before they make/confirm their offer - otherwise, a satisfactory review published could in fact entice another bidder into the frame.
