I think we need to look at the bigger picture.

In simple terms the plan was to drill one well in each of 7 different locations, each location being an individual lease, ie Billy Goat, The Bard, Garcia, Treasure Hill, Mona loa, Sagebrush , ( possibly two wells with this, due to one well being a re-completion), and Coyote Wash.

The next logical step after completing all this, would be to develop the lease with the highest commercial value. We obviously can not develop all areas at the same time, we are too small a company. Therefore we would need to choose the best one to start with.

From seismic data etc Andrew believes that Sagebrush and Coyote are probably going to be the best. So it makes sense to accept the deal on offer. Let us say for argument sake that we rejected the offer. We would still continue with the next drill at The Bard and so on until we have completed all wells. If at the end of all the drillings we found that all locations were commercial viable, but Billy Goat was let's say the forth largest or even the smallest in revenue terms, then it's clear that we would not develop this lease to begin with, we would however start developing the lease with the best commercial value.

Andrew has accepted the offer because it means someone else can generate the revenue for us and much faster, and without any cost. Otherwise if it was rejected, we could end up having an asset sitting around for a number of years before we got round to developing and putting it into production.

I think on reflection it is the correct decision. Another positive we can take from this is the fact that our first drill has most likely proven commercial and the management team believe that there are bigger resources to follow.

If the Bard is also a success, we may do a similar thing as it is close to Billy Goat. If one or two of the other wells produce commercial helium we may go for an all cash deal, let's wait and hope. To be honest I haven't had a chance to read all the posts here today, so I apologise if someone has already said this.

Even though the share price has not showed any real change over the last 12 months or so, the company has shown real improvement in it's focus and the deals it's done over the same period.

Once these placing shares are sold off, we should see a movement upwards as we continue with the drilling, this will be a more accurate reflection of where the company is at present. If we can get some bigger buying volumes this week we may be ready to move either the end of the week or the start of next.

From an investment point of view, this is about all the projects not just Vecta.

Vecta has a very good chance of being commercial, and is cheap and quick to production in comparison to many exploration companies. At the moment it is still unknown with regards to quantity, but more will become clearer as we test. They need to prove that helium is there, and todays RNS suggests they are more confident. Drilling to start very soon.

Sagebrush and Coyote Wash have more technical data, due to seismic information and one well was flow tested many years ago and appears to be commercial. The numbers for this are probably circa in excess of $200 mil US for the combination of the two. We are looking at the end of the year to early next year for these two. There is also a possibility of discovering oil, which would be a bonus.

The final two assets are in Australia and have very big numbers, we have royalties on these for 2.5% and 5%., these are more long term.

All in all it's a good balance I think, but as always best to do your own research.

I think this well and The Bard are the most likely to have helium, both are close to the Bluestar area, which has recently seen success. The most profitable could be Treasure Hill as this is nearer to the Model Dome, which in the past recorded very high helium concentrations. However Treasure Hill maybe more of a risk, ie all or nothing. All guess work of course!

Yes I think Colorado is 7 hours behind, so any Spud RNS would have to arrive very late tomorrow afternoon, so more likely it will be Wednesday morning.

Regardless of whether the results are good or not, it is nice to know that we have another drill within about week, and so on up to 5 drills. Lots of news flow to keep people interested.

Only.... I think because our first drill is very close to where Bluestar are drilling, I would say we have a better than a 50/50 chance of discovering helium, and the % and flow rates they are getting appear to be commercial, but I don't know how we get the resource figures ie. cubic feet etc. this will come later I guess. They may require more data or they may just start drilling production wells. They first need to prove the helium is within our area and then go from there.

All in all I'm excited about it, and we just need to hope we find helium and have similar numbers to Bluestar. I do apologise but I'm going to relax now as I've been working most of the day, but I will tune in during the week.

It is good to see MSMN starting to rise, it's been a long time to wait.

The coming week will hopefully prove successful, but the Vecta project is difficult to calculate if you only go on RNS information and interviews. As Andy C has stated, each of the 5 wells are different., but we have not been given any detailed technical analysis, unlike Sagebrush. However if you look at the maps we can see that Billy Goat and the Bard are very close to where Bluestar have had decent success, but the Treasure Hill location is close to the Model Dome which had high concentrations of helium. As long as we have a few good results it will help us hugely.

With regards to Sagebrush and Coyote Wash this is easier to quantify as they have seismic data, and a well that was flow tested albeit 30 years ago. Looking at the RNS numbers I worked out that Sagebrush value comes to circa $92 million US to MSMN, using $450/ thousand cubic feet. Also Andy mentioned that Coyote Wash was larger than Sagebrush so you could estimate it in excess of $100 mil. That's approx £150 mil, add on Vecta if successful, and the two royalty based assets in Australia, (e155 & e145), then we are staring at some very good numbers compared to our current market cap, not Exxon or BP but very good all the same.

I think it is also important to mention that this could all happen quite quickly in comparison to other exploration companies as the infrastructure is very much in place, as mentioned with enthusiasm by Mr Carroll himself. One last point is that the US Operations Director has also invested $70K into the Sagebrush project, which is a good indicator that he thinks he can find the helium and I think he has a good idea it will be commercial.

Anyway let's hope we have a good week and the good RNS news flow continues. It appears the RED news dots on the screen will be a plenty in the weeks and months ahead.

Sorry one thing I forgot to mention is the corporate costs. Are you sure the $1.2 m dollars was in US dollars not Aus. If that is Aus dollars then depending on the exchange rate it would mean the cost was nearer to $750k which means an extra cash in the bank of almost 0.5 mil, and if you add the $300k dollars for e155 that would give almost an extra $1 mil dollars come the end of the year, hence why Andy would say no placing required for 12 months. If you have time have another check. Now I definitely need to stop posting.

Almost all AIM stocks need placings, it is par for the course. The most important part is what you are using it for. I believe we are heading in the right direction, and as we prove helium is there and commercial, we will receive more and more interest. There are still options for example selling cinnabar or joint ventures.

The next step is to start drilling with Vecta, and prove this area, it will be disappointing if we have a delay, I'm hoping this time they pull it off.

I have just had a quick look this morning, and probably the reason for the discrepancy in the numbers was the fact that you used US dollars and I was remembering it in Aus dollars. Regarding e155 if the permit goes through we will receive an extra $300k Aus dollars.

Londoner7... Thanks for taking timeout to do some numbers, I myself am very busy, so find it difficult to respond to most of these posts.

From memory I thought the cash position was circa $3.5 mil not 2.2 and I thought the sale of e145 was circa $400k not $250k, subject to approval of course, I can not remember e155.

Anyway I have to go, but one thing I definitely do not agree with is when you say helium is for dreamers, we will have to disagree on that one.

I'm not sure why the delays we have had to Vecta would result in us needing a placing. If the delays were to continue up to the end of the year then it is more likely, but even then probably not. If we were to have an unexpected placing it would be more the opposite. That is to say, it would be due to the fact that we have fast tracked the Sagebrush project to commercialisation. The Sagebrush 1 well was expected to be re-worked and then flow-tested, but as a result of the old data sheets it was discovered that this had been completed already, therefore they can now miss this step. They are

looking at doing 3D seismic, which according to previous information is fully funded, and they will also need to do a feasibility study, this all takes time, although I don't believe it would be hugely expensive.

MSMN has a few million dollars in the bank and is also generating some oil revenue. It has the e145 and e155 in Australia which we do not need any cash for, as it is royalties based for both.

Vecta is fully funded for 5 wells, which we hope to start by mid-May. If we can prove this has helium and is commercial this will put us in a very good position, and it is possible that we may attract partners who may help fund us into production for sagebrush and/or other projects. The key point here is many placings are done to keep the lights on or pay-off debt or at best explore. We are looking at trying to get into production with Sagebrush and Vecta, assuming Vecta comes up trumps.

I would not be surprised if for a while we don't get at least one RNS a week starting next week. The main issue will be whether or not we are able to start drilling in May or will we be told of a delay?

To help with the funding, MSMN has since acquired an asset which is providing a small amount of oil revenue. Every pound/ dollar will contribute.

I don't pretend to know much about this, and you are correct the leadville is below the salt layer, but from memory there is another layer below the leadville which is a secondary reservoir of possible helium. They will need to complete a 3d seismic to determine the best locations to drill in sagebrush.

The most important part about finding this old data is that the primary goal of the drill back then was to find oil, which

they did, but this now provides more evidence that helium is there and is probably commercial.

AC seems to be very clear that the drilling is going to start next month, and provided some detail, it appears that the drilling has a quick turn over, faster than I thought. He is also staying in the US next week, so we may here more news after Easter. I'd say this is now all very promising and things could move quickly over the coming weeks,

Hello and Happy Christmas everyone!

I don't post much on these boards, I haven't the time. Today I do and I thought I'd give you something to read.

I was somewhat disappointed with the pre-Christmas RNS, as I imagine everyone else was, (no Vecta time-line). Looking at the facts. The RNS on the 16 Sept stated that Vecta began looking to hire a drill rig at this time, not early June. So they have been trying for about 3 months.

I'm guessing that due to the increased popularity of helium there has been a sharp increase in the demand for drill rigs, this clearly was not anticipated by Vecta. I noticed another stock that I once followed, has also moved into helium exploration during the last 12 months or so.

However I do believe our turn will arrive, and once we have a date for drilling the share price should move upwards quickly. The fact that we have a number of helium projects, and in what appears to be good areas suggests that the odds are in our favour. We also have a low market cap, no debt and we have some cash in the bank, comparing to many AIM companies it's not a bad shout as investments go.

I also think the management team should keep shareholders more informed, good communication is important.

If progress is slow, the reasons for this should be explained early on, I think it is better in the long run for the share price.

I personally don.t think the diamond news is currently priced in. Firstly the share price had an intra day high of approx 1.2p on the day the court order was given, but it slowly dropped back when it became apparent that we were still not in possession of the diamonds. Secondly we don't know what the value of the diamonds are. Thirdly we have moved on in the BP production numbers and development since February. So all in all if we are told that diamonds are now in our possession the share price should in theory rise to at least 1p, then it is just calculating the value of the diamonds in respect to our current financial position.
There is one other factor which could cause the sp to rise to a much greater level, and that is whether AP mentions the possibility of a JV. I myself think this may come much later, and it is possible that as part of the amicable agreement with the government, some of the funds from the sale of the diamonds may be required before the JV is signed.
