So now that you are no longer a share-holder, maybe it is time for you to move on and allow us holders to continue.

No one on here knew when we invested in AST whether or not we were going to achieve what we set out to do, that is the whole point of investing. However I do believe that if the Slovenian authorities had been more efficient I would either have achieved my goal or I would have invested less. The time it has taken them to reach this point is ridiculous.

Regardless of this you have recommended share-holders to SELL, yet you are now saying you are still invested.

I believe the whole process going back at least to 2016 has been shown to be very poor on behalf of the Slovene authorities. Any legal action against them will hopefully highlight this.

HeresHopin… You are correct. I think it would be very unfair to base this decision on a few emails from a few small share-holders. That's why the authorities should have procedures in place for this situation. We will just have to wait and see what happens from this point.

If by the end of this month the Slovenian authorities do not provide Colin with a decision or at least a reasonable date to which a decision may be given, I believe Colin will then issue them with a letter informing them of legal action. He may make his move sooner of course.

He will probably give them at least a month to respond to the letter before legal proceedings will start. This gives his legal team time to decide the course of action and prepare a solid case. Based on what I've read so far, it appears that the permit was granted up until the final stage ie. the environmental ministers rubber stamp. He as halted the process due to inappropriate e-mails and as a result a police investigation. How this police investigation will resolve this, I don't know for sure.

I would imagine if the origin can not be proved then I don't see a reason for not issuing the permits.
If the e-mails are not from the AST BOD/partners or shareholders then again I don't see a reason for not issuing the permits.

If it is proven they come from shareholders etc they would then re-examine the permit application from the date at which the abusive e-mails were received to determine whether or not they had an influence on the decision. However the time it takes to conclude this police investigation they could have completed the re-examination.

You would have thought that this would not be the first time an official organisation had received e-mails such as this. You would think that on receipt of such e-mails that there would be strict guidelines that they would follow. ie A person or persons receiving these e-mails would then immediately refer the permit application to an independant body, in order to continue the decision making.
This is all very strange and doesn't appear to have been conducted in a proffesional manner.

Anyway everything is guess work at the moment, I have very little idea what is happening. For me it is the Slovenian officials that are causing the problems. There has not been a stable government in Slovenia for quite some time.

The contents of the application in my view are not being challenged because it may take too long, therefore they are checking where the e-mails have come from. If they connect it to the companies involved then they will check the contents of the application.

To clarify I believe the permit should have been issued in 2016 at the latest. Also the decision on the permit for re-stim has taken over 1.5years. Very poor in my view.

To determine whether or not the application for permits have been influenced, it would require ARSO to go through the application from the point at which the first abusive e-mail was received. Depending on when that was will dictate how long it would take. If no proof of where these e-mails originated, or they were found to have no connection to the companies involved then the permits would have to be issued.

The review as stated was only looking at the process not the detail of the application. I guess ARSO believe it will be quicker to determine the origins of the e-mails than it would be to re-examine the application. All guess work derived from very little information I'm afraid.

You maybe right Stock, but I do believe there is very little the Authorities can do legally to stop this permit application. Otherwise the permit process in Slovenia will grind to a halt, based on our experience. The government will not want that.

I think todays RNS is directed just as much to the Slovenian authorities as it is to us.

Looking at the details it says the review has been concluded and suggests to me there is not a problem with the permit application. I think if there was an issue, the permits would have been rejected by now. However due to the abusive e-mails it was necessary to request a police investigation as to where they originated. If they were sent from the AST BOD or our JV partners then there could be an issue. If they were sent from AST shareholders then it is unlikely to be a problem, ( although it could be a problem for the individuals that sent them.) but obviously the minister will not issue the permits until the police investigation is completed. Hopefully this will be concluded before Christmas or at the latest Jan/FEb 2019.

Let's wait to see what comes of this investigation. If we don't agree with the outcome we can explain are side at the ECJ. I'm confident our case has the better standing.

........Yes I would suggest a start to legal action if no response from either the minister or ARSO before the Christmas period.
Should that response be a no to permits or re-application, then legal proceedings should begin based on the time this has taken to conclude. If a response includes more delays rather than re-application then time-limits need to be applied for no legal action to be taken.
If permits are issued then no problem
I don't want any money raised to be spent on this project unless it will allow us to be cash positive or for legal costs.

There is no point asking Dcross, in my view they want the BOD to fail. The future of the company is probably of no interest. I guess they currently hold only a few shares, and therefore has little impact on them.
