Rumours are that the x-environmental minister of Slovenia is to form a new Green Party with a well known environment activist. No prizes for guessing who that could be.

I believe the RNS today was a significant milestone. This company is now in a good position to move forwards. Compared to many aim stocks this has a much clearer future. I think in due course the sp will give us a much higher market cap.

Does anyone have an idea of the approx. valuation of these two wells, (ie the gas and oil well,) after all capital expenditure is taken into account, assuming the final results are confirmed that is?

Agree, I can't imagine a takeover at this point, we maybe days or at the most weeks away from the appeal decision. There has been ample time to have done this already. Any move towards ownership or a partnership will more likely take place after the courts decision, but it will I believe require the result to go in our favour. Should we lose we could have 2-3 years in court or 2-3 years completing a full EIA. No guarantees of a good decision at the end of it, although I would think that with the current popularity of climate activists the best option would be the ECJ.

Yes the timing is very suspect, maybe they are trying to influence the courts decision indirectly.

Just to let you know, those complaints on the 12 Nov do not appear to be as a result of a decision from The Administrative Court. I read some of the very long PDF document on the OECD website, and it seems to suggest the decision from the admin court had not been announced on the date of the complaint.

I think I've lost about £32k, I don't like thinking about it any more, I also agree the BOD have not been perfect, and like most BOD'S they have probably not told us everything. However I still knew enough to know the risks and my main grievance is with the Slovene authorities who to start with were supportive of investors, but the changes in Government over time have meant they are now listening to the activists. I just hope that justice will be applied by the courts.

Tell me Brock and LC81 .. what is it you hope to achieve from AST?

If you think the wells that don't require a permit will bring in the big money, you are the ones that are delusional. To be honest I don't think you believe that, but sometimes it is hard to tell. The banks and institutional investors are unlikely to provide the cash for these wells, so it will be the likes of you and me who will need to provide the financing.

The big money is with the wells that require a permit, if it was the other way round the BOD would have not started with pg10/11a.

I've made my decision! If the appeal is lost I'm finished with this stock, if we win then I continue to the next step, which is hoping that ARSO or the government issues the permit. You can carry on with your BOD bashing but I doubt you will achieve much, but that is your choice.

This is all about being allowed to retrieve the gas, if we are not allowed to stimulate the most productive wells then there is little future in Slovenia, that has always been the case. Those invested should know that. I've said it since the beginning.

You have now posted those interviews.

1) You said he mentioned the fact that the permits are not priority. First of all he mentions only the permit for the plant not the permit for the stimulation) What he says concerning the plant permit was correct. At that time of the interview we were ready to sell the gas to INA in Croatia and therefore the plant was no longer urgently required because we now had someone to sell the gas to. The plant permit was to allow us to sell to Slovenia with better margins. When they first applied for the permit we had no way of selling the gas, so the plant permit was more urgent.

2) With regards to the loan for the plant, at that time the gas was flowing well and therefore the chances of us receiving a loan were good. Since then the gas pressure has fallen and the wells now need stimulating hence the reason for the permit to re-stimulate. Should we get the permit, then gas flow will hopefully increase and return to cash flow positive and therefor a better chance of a loan. There is no point applying for a loan when you don't have permission to get the gas out the ground.

So the comments of Colin during this time were correct. I have been following this since March 2016.

To me it's all about the 'Appeal', nothing else.

The permits are needed for the full development. I invested based on that. If the decision of the admin court goes in our favour the share price rockets, if we lose then it's the ECJ. I believe this is what they are waiting for. Then they will make their next move. We should know before year end.

To be honest the voice sounds like a computer, doesn't sound real.

Obviously most of the details will arrive on completion, but surely we must have a some stake in the project, otherwise this is all guess work.

Can someone tell me what % of this Zim asset they own, and if they sign a JV will the funding come from a loan or will they give away a % of the asset for cash. Please excuse my ignorance and lack of knowledge regarding this stock? I may be way off the mark with this, I'm very new to this share and I'm considering buying before next week.

If you are making reference to the administrative court, I think from memory it is up to 6 months.
You may find the information from one of the investor presentations on the AST website. I believe AST gave this as a guidance only.
