If I've heard this stuck tool once, I've heard it a hundred times. It's like a stuck record!

For goodness sake Colin was told by oil and gas contractors that the tool would not make much difference and it was only later realized that it would have an impact, at which point Colin informed shareholders. Also the stuck tool was only a problem for the least productive well, (pg11a). So in reality it was never going to have a huge impact.

Guess what the stuck tool makes very little difference now, because we don't have the permits to build the plant or stimulate the wells.

My advice is to stop focusing on the minor issues and concentrate on the important points such as the permits and compressor equipment.

I contacted Colin yesterday as there appears again to be a growing frustration to the lack of response.

I asked about the compressor and the permit for the plant, he sent me a reply but it has now appeared on twitter as you can see.

I have just sent him an e-mail with a suggestion rather than question. Suggesting they sit down with the NGO'S and independant experts to come up with parameters. Similar to what the UK government are doing in Blackpool. If those parameters are crossed they stop proceedings until readings are back within the guidelines. Probably will come to nothing, but worth a try!

He does not blank all e-mails, I have had a number of reply's.

Also we've just had an investor show and a shareholder meeting. If you are that concerned you could try attending. There are many aim shares in which you will receive far less information than this one.

You could have had your opportunity to speak to Colin in person rather than asking me.

Most of us are down big time on our investment, but the statements you are making I believe are not correct.

Colin in my view has been clear about the permits or at least to the best of his ability, bearing in mind he is not an oil and gas expert.

If you talk about the permit for the plant he has said on many occasions that in the short term it is not a priority, but for full development it is.
If you talk about the permit for re-stimulation it was not a priority when they first flowed gas, but it did become a priority when they realised the flow of gas was becoming a problem.

Any investor through-out has known the need for the permits and the significance of not obtaining them.

The presence of some on this forum would be more convincing if they spent more of their time analysing the stability and actions of the multiple Slovenian Government's there have been during the last few years. The board do have to take some responsibility however and more investment on their part would be appreciated by us long-term holders.

I would just like to see more balance from these posters who claim to be investors, and not keep repeating the same mantra.

The situation between ARSO and Ascent has now been published in the Slovenian Times newspaper.

I would imagine all permit applications would have a time limit, otherwise the process would not function. However it appears to the man in the street that these time limits are being challenged to say the least. Hopefully AST lawyers are looking at all this!

If an EIA is required for the re-stimulation of the two wells, how come it has taken almost 2 years for them to come to that conclusion? According to past information we applied for this permit in May 2017, if we had been told this at that time we may have completed the EIA by now.

I understand that this is your interpretation of the meeting, so any criticism is not targeted at you.

My main concern again is with the legal aspect. They are saying that if we begin legal proceedings then the permit process will be suspended. As far as I am concerned we have already been suspended for almost 5 years. We have made very little progress with the permits during that time and we are still answering questions. AST have been in Slovenia for over a decade trying to nurture public opinion. The reality is, if the Slovene authorities have broken any rules or laws then we have every right to take legal action. It appears we have no way of communicating with them without being accused of lobbying etc.

It is possible that Colin has some information that progress with the permits is taking place, but is reluctant to say. I can only hope that this is the case, but this lack of clarity from the authorities is frustrating.

I'm still not sure why they are asking us questions though, we have been through all this many times before. At the end of the day it will be down to the BOD how long they want to wait. I myself have my own guidance of how long I will stay as a shareholder.

However 1) Colin should have at the very least a guidance from his legal team on the time it will take. 2) We have to make a move at some point, we have taken almost 5 years, in theory it could go on forever. All we need is a guidance from the Slovene authorities, so we can then make a decision based on that guidance.

I'll start off by saying thanks to all those who attended the meeting and who posted comments afterwards, it is appreciated.

Even though the comments were on the whole positive, I myself felt somewhat deflated. I was hoping that the following questions would have been answered...… 1) Approximately how long will it take our legal advisors to prepare a case? 2) Once the legal case is ready, how long will we give the Slovene authorities to make a decision on the permits?

It is possible the permits may arrive within the next couple of weeks and Colin may be quietly confident of that, but we have been in this position many times before. In my view we need to continue with the legal route until a decision on the permits is given.
I may be wrong, but from yesterdays meeting I get the impression that the permits have become of secondary importance. To me they are the golden ticket which unlocks the whole development and gives the green light to a potential partner or buy-out.

If someone is kind enough to ask, there are only two questions I have for Colin.

1) How long does he expect it to take for the legal team to prepare the case?

2) On completion of the legal case how long will AST give the Slovene authorities to provide an answer on the permits?
