From memory I think the money raised in late June was just enough to cover the Atlas conversion. (which didn't happen), and to cover costs up to mid-late August. This was when first sales was supposed to happen, but as we know it didn't take place. So I would imagine they used the money earmarked for Atlas to take us through to this point in time. Obviously we are still not in a position to sell and also have additional bridge costs etc, hence the reason for another raise. All guess work, I'm afraid to say!
Steve... I think you are correct about the past, and I also have reservations about Harry, but having only been here since Jan/20 I am prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt. Also there are three differences I believe compared to the past. 1) The situation with the gold price, 2) ANS are basically out of the equation, although they are allowed to take part if they still wish, and lastly 3) RAB are now involved. This I think has changed the way investors are viewing this share.
antharry......I'm not aware of what is happening at all. Also I don't recall what others have said, but I'm reasonably confident once you can show a lender proof of revenue, your chances of a good finance deal will improve.
antharry.....I'm quite sure I saw that article sometime ago, so I think the new person in charge has had more time available.
To be honest the Zimbabwe deal I believe is now just a bonus, most investors have almost given up on this, if they sign, then it would be amazing. They still have the not so good finance deal from Atlas. However I think once we are in production properly we will receive a new finance package from somewhere.
I'm not going to pretend I understand the mechanics of all this. So I'm guessing when I say, maybe the additional revenue that has been indicated by the test results, has caused a delay in the setting up of the equipment. They obviously did not anticipate this extra source of income, so now they have decided to incorporate this into the process. Therefore adding extra time to the set-up. Hopefully someone with more knowledge than myself can correct me!
As I've said before, I have no problem with negative posts, as long as it is just once in a while. I have doubts if they are negative and continuous . I have very little doubt that certain posters on here have an agenda.
A good example:
I myself have an interest in another stock that I am currently NOT invested, but I am waiting for the arrival of an RNS that I believe will propel the sp. The difference between me and certain people on here is I don't spend all day on that particular board trying to either stop the sp rising or even trying to lower it. I understand the urge to stop a share price rising when you know you want in at the right time, even more so when you know the RNS you are waiting for. I just think it is wrong, but obviously others don't view it that way.
We have listened to people on here say they will invest if the finance is closed in October, therefore their objective is to keep the share price from rising until it happens, or if it happens
Trying to pretend you are doing it to help new investors doesn't wash with me I'm afraid.
There could be one, two or even three NEXT WEEK. All three could be lumped into one.
Start of production at flotation plant.
Results.
Announcement of quantity required for first shipment.
Sorry for answering, not my question I know. Have to go now!
I'm going to give HA the benefit of the doubt, for now.
I can understand the frustration for those who have waited a long time. I have only been here since the start of the year, but I will wait until the end of October and then pass judgement. I can only imagine how difficult it is to operate in a country like Ethiopia, but at the same time we are now in a place were gold appears to be in demand. Harry is in a position of strength and therefore this is as good a time as any to be able to strike a deal and a good one.
If TK was to be delayed again we will have to hope that SA comes to the rescue, and hopefully we can start by getting very good results and on time.
I would expect news next week and the week after.
I'm guessing more results and the quantity required for shipment at the back end of next week, Tuesday 18 Aug the latest. This should give us a more clear date as to our first payment.
Then I would expect an update of the re-finance the week following that.
If we do have a raise of funds , I think it will be small. This is a guess obviously, but I don't think it will be too far off the mark, despite the history of VAST. If not then so be it!
I believe there is a meeting on the 13th, and from memory I think HAA said there may be some technical guys there should we receive any material news before-hand, I assumed he meant the results. It would be nice if we didn't have to wait until the end of August.
As far as I am aware we will not know the size of the order until mid Aug. Depending on how much they want will depend when we can ship. My guess would be mid Aug for a smaller amount late Aug/early Sep for larger amount.
I think Harry is more free with his choice of words when he is interviewed, but he is more careful when it comes to an RNS. So it depends which you consider the most important. I think most of you guys provide good insight and in reality are reading from the same page.
I myself tend to post more positive comments as that is the way I feel about the stock itself. otherwise I would not be invested. I think Uk2 to be fair does give a very balanced view and for what it's worth I don't believe has multiple usernames. Much the same with PositiveV, many of your posts are informative.
I'm ok with negative posters, but I do question when negative posters spend more time on here than myself. I don't have too much of a problem with those who are not invested and make comments, but I would suggest keeping it down to a minimum, otherwise it tends to raise more questions than answers.
