Great research JohnnyB1??It is interesting that the number of “likes” on the covidity advert is now 134 - huge increase over past couple of days and you must ask yourself…why? You could just be right and a RNS is not far away??

Just purchased another, circa 20,000 shares, and it’s shown as a sell. How difficult is it to correctly identify and list a buy or a sell, particularly given the small number of transactions at this time?

I remain convinced by the science, supported, in no small part, by several of the “knowledgeable” posters on this BB, but remain a touch nervous by the lack of information regarding the number of participants in the various trials and general progress towards the production of data. I have never invested in this sector before so perhaps I am expecting too much information at this stage?

Like you AB124 I worry that something isn’t quite as it should be. A company with huge potential, world beating science etc yet trading at circa 13p!! I accept we need positive data from one of the trials, but 13p……it simply doesn’t make sense to me…..but what do I know? Patience will hopefully be rewarded.

I agree with you completely Balerno2, there is a huge amount of positivity on this BB which , hopefully, is not misplaced, but I too feel there is a lack of commercial nous by the lead players in the company. Everything is happening ‘tomorrow’ and despite 3 positive RNS in the past 10 days the SP has hardly responded in a positive matter. It’s taken 10 years plus to get to this point and we need something “solid” to kick start the SP. Apologies, actually not trying to be negative…more really frustrated!!

Seems strange absolutely nothing from Scancell twitter account since the end of April. Several tweets etc consistently each month preceding ?? It does make you wonder if something is going on in the background!

Burble, thank you very much for your very insightful explanation re Modi-1 formulation etc. To be frank it’s posters such as you and Bermudashorts , in particular, that have sparked and maintained my interest in Scancell and the science behind the company. I find it incredibly exciting that we could be about to see a phenomenal breakthrough in the treatment of certain types of aggressive tumours. Fingers, toes, everything crossed!!

I agree completely. I’m holed below the waterline, as far as the current SP is concerned, but I have a very personal interest in what a Scancell are doing and if they ultimately prove to be successful I will be ‘over the moon’.I’m in for the long term and will continue to invest in the company at these low SP levels. I just have a feeling, for whatever reason, that Scancell will come good…….but it will take time, and I don’t mean just a couple of months! GLE

I’m just astonished at the fall in the SP today. Is it a reaction to the Ukraine situation or has someone got “wind” of bad news? I still retain confidence in LD but a very disappointing start to the week! I should mention I am not an experienced investor, just attracted by the science which seems, and hopefully is, very exciting.

I agree with Kashdog 100%. SCLP have never been ahead of the game in all the time I have been tracking the company. I suspect meaningfull, hopefully positive data, will be several months away, hence the reaction over the past 24 hours. Cautiously optimistic at best.

I have only posted a couple of messages over the past year but am an avid reader of this message board. I have been hugely impressed by the content of the majority of posts - many of you are very knowledgeable about the science surrounding Scancell and I have been encouraged to invest in the company on the back of many of the posts. What does disturb me is the discussion on another Board which, quite frankly, is straight out of the playground and if I was an potential investor in Scancell I would ‘ run a mile’ based of the vitriol, aggression etc of the posters and I genuinely think potential investors may well be put off by their constant spats. Just an observation but thanks again to many of you for a fascinating insight or “take” on a company I hope will prove to be a world leader .

Monday is the closing date for applications for funding from CEPI - likely be a few weeks before any announcement regarding successful bidders, although Scancell may be near the front of the queue , so could be sooner. Feel we are 3/4 weeks away from, hopefully, multiple RNS.
